Tooro Royal Cottages
Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

I stayed at the hotel last week with a group of five people. The room was basic but clean and bright. It had curtains (also in the bathroom) and a new mosquito net. I had hot water on both mornings. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant both days, the food was simple but good.

A unique hotel with pleasant grounds. I traveled with a group. The service was very good. The food was excellent with more variety than usual. Not suitable for disabled as all of the rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator. Our room was on the fourth floor! The staircase varies in riser height and width of treads and can be very disorienting. Only one hot shower the three nights we were there and that one was boiling hot. The bathrooms have clear glass on the windows and the rooms open out onto a balcony that surrounds the whole hotel. There are no curtains on the bathroom windows. One of our group used the pool and said it was nice.

Room Tip: Remember that there is no elevator.
