My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of July 2012 as we were unable to get onto the campsite we originally wanted until two days after our arrival in France. We had booked many many months before our travel and explained the size of our caravan (twin axle). On arrival, we were met with a queue of motor home and caravans before us. My husband went to book in at reception. He was gone for some time and on his return he said it was absolute chaos in reception. Our pitch was very very difficult to get into, having to reverse through the equivalent of a five bar gate down between two hedges for approx 25-30 foot and then round a huge tree right in the middle of our pitch. As you can imagine we were completely in the shade throughout our two night stay. We did not have the correct French connection for electric hook up so went without electric for the first night as no shops or supermarkets were open on Sundays to buy the connector. We were unable to errect our canopy due to little room, we had to tie branches up to stop them scratching the caravan and had sticky pine needles all over the car and caravan. The showers were adequate, although dirty each time used. No toilet paper in any cubicle and nothing to dry hands on after washing. We went for a walk and there seemed to be lots for the kids with pool, golf, zip wire fun in the woods and fishing. There was a bouncy castle for the smaller kids by the bar area. We did have a drink at the bar but did not use the restaurant on site. When walking around the site, we spotted a pitch which was empty for our duration and it was very spacious and not under trees. Had we have been allocated this pitch our experience may have been a whole lot different. We will not return to this site in the future as it's not for us.
