Loved this little cafe. The ladies serving were charming and the atmosphere relaxed and Oldy-worldy. Food was good. We had traditional steak plastids which came with a lovely garnish and a great dressing on it. Ice cream was lovely too. Really liked the fact that well behaved dogs ( even sandy ones) were allowed in and it made for a great finish to a lovely day out dog walking.
It was out of season so probably quieter than usual but we loved the 1940's feel with the retro signs and adverts on the walls. Would definitely go again. Was confused as to what it was called. Looked on her to rate The Beachcombers Cafe but after much searching found that it's listed as Bovisands Cafe. Either way - it's lovely!
