I went for lunch with my mum at the cafe. When we arrived no one greeted us, even when we said hello we didn't get a response. Eventually were seated and had the smarmiest waiter serving us who looked down his nose at us the whole time. We were not asked at any point how our food was and weren't even thanked when we paid or left. The food was tasty but the service was so poor I won't be rushing to go back. We wanted to stay at one of the cottages and use the spa in the spring but after this visit we shall go elsewhere

This has to be one of the best farm shops in the country, but comes at a price. The shop and it's cafe / restaurants are located in a mix of old barn with new extensions in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds. It is off the beaten track so I would imagine it may be difficult to access during bad wintery weather. Lots of roomy light and airy space with very relaxed seating. As a family party of six we ordered hot drinks and cake for five of us. Service was excellent, we were shown to our table and our order was taken by a very friendly waitress. The cakes ordered were tasty enough but on the small side for the price paid, all different drinks ordered were served hot.
The bill was just under £40 and it also included a 10% service charge which most people would feel obliged to pay. The waitress did point out that it was optional at the time of payment.
What really let this place down was the poor toilet facilities. The gents had two cubicles only, no urinals. The floor of both toilets was strewn with pieces of toilet paper and were not very clean. My wife said the ladies' was no better. There may have been better toilet facilities within the building, but these were not apperent to me at the time of our visit.
If you are on a budget, then this is not the place for you, but the management need to up their game to justify the prices they are charging, both in their dining rooms/café and farm shop.

This is my second trip to Daylesford for lunch. I brought a girlfriend from so. California knowing this would be right up her alley. Light bright and fresh organic products. We enjoyed the three choice salad, a glass of the Bamford red and a nice corner table in the lounge area. Really a perfect meal on a dreary day. Put this place on your list for a fun outing. The facilities themselves are old and new mixed together in a glass farm presentation.
I had Sunday roast here in the past and it was very good hearty meal too.

Had the vegan burger and beef burger. Very good and dog friendly in the ‘leg bar’. Very spacious and airy. Although we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, the staff were very attentive

We came across the farm whilst on a ramble December 30th and the atmosphere was so buzzing, we thought a birthday meal there would be an experience. Unfortunately it was a very expensive experience and not worth it. The leek and potato soup was weak and lacking in seasoning. The chopped salad was spoilt by the dressing and the mince pies had a pleasant flavour but really horrible soggy pastry. The serving staff were pleasant but the chefs didn’t look too happy. A visit to the shop made another large dent in the wallet.
