We found Sjöbacka a few years ago as we made one of our numerous visits at the far south east of Sweden, the Österlen area. The place is ran by a very nice couple, Göran and Ami and even though it is stated to be a B&B you can always at breakfast sign on for tonights dinner. You will not have an a la carte menu to pick from but you will have the same main course as the other guests. The first guest to agree with the chef on what to have will decide and the rest just tags along. Really good cooking, nice wines and a few beer labels to choose among.
The place is a traditional farm house with buildings surrounding a small and very calm yard but you can also use the lawns outside the building structure for free. The entire farm is now converted to accomodade the B&B guests and even though the rooms are not luxurious they are still nice and since you typically use your room mostly during a few night hours the standard should be sufficient for most people.
You overlook the Baltic Sea and spot the Danish island Bornholm at the horizon. Just about anything you might need for you vacation in this part of Scandinavia is at close range, within minutes and certainly within the hour (by car). You reach Malmö and Copenhagen within about 90 minutes if you drive the main road and if you choose smaller roads and more scenic views you can spend the whole day making your way around.
You just need to go there, believe me.

Room Tip: Just give the owner a phonecall and discuss what rooms are available and find out which one will suit you best.
