Hi,

Took my son up for an overnight camping trip. Its in a good location and has a playground and very close to the beach. For a non school holidays period is was very busy and the tents were packed into the non powered sites. This is Ok however the experience was spoiled by noisy campers about 5 tents away who were carrying on past midnight very loudly. I would have expected that the onsite management would have this under control especially when so crowded. Its a shame that those people did not know how to behave but the park management should have enforced rules on this. Else there will be confrontations amongst campers. As it was we just had to put up with it as I had my son to think about. But it seriously disturbed our sleep and enjoyment of the park. Glad we weren't right next to them. So wouldn't recommend in peak times.

The park itself is in a great location, close to the beach, right next to shops and has the amenities that every holiday park/caravan park offers. The park rules are a little strict for us, we were in a group of 9 adults all above ages 25, and were told we could not even talk amongst ourselves after 10pm. Every park we have stayed at we have always respected the noise level after 10pm and have never been a loud group, however the security guard would come to our campsite each night at 10:05 and tell us we were not allowed to sit in our campsite and talk. I do understand families with children who need to sleep early but I am sure families understand the need for people to relax and enjoy their stay in holiday parks as long as everyone respects one another. Although we had a great time, this was a deal breaker for us and we wont be returning.

Nothing wrong with the park, its right on the beach, next door to the surf club, shops over the road, reasonably clean amenities (it was busy so obviously they can't keep on top of them 100%), also a skate park next door (kids loved it) - but unfortunately the reception staff were rude, the cleaners were miserable and rude and basically unhelpful and totally disinterested .....time for them all to have a job change perhaps. We simply tried to stay away from them for our stay and will not bother going back... There's plenty of other places .....

We booked a site for the weekend and it was just beautiful, we were overlooking the car park but had a slight angled view of the ocean. I can honestly say one of the most beautifully maintained parks, spotless, great amenities and excellent location.
When we booked in we opted for a slightly more expensive site and the manager kindly waived the difference, nice touch,
We will definitely be back!

A horrible start to a lovely weekend. We booked our beach front site in advance at this park and turned up (at 3:30pm) to be told that our site had been given away to another van. Our option (as was told to us) was to go down the back to a powered site with no slab (just crusher dust and do I mean dust) or as the lady in the office said "go home" - seriously!. Don't get me wrong besides the horrible receptionist the park is well positioned and very clean and tidy. it probably wouldn't hurt to put a few more slab sites down for vans or use something other then crusher dust but there is definably no complaints about this park. Fantastic position to explore the coast and the beach was lovely the weekend we went. Nice that there is a life saving flags just near by, so the kids didn't have to walk to far. Not so sure what else you can do to guarantee a site though as they just didn't seem to care that they gave the site away.

We chose to pay for a beach side powered site and luckily we were given the second best located site in the whole park, good view of the beach and the passing parade of beach goers. This is a well run park and surprisingly very very large but only a small corner has a good view of the beach.

Dicky Beach has a good cafe with good coffee, and IGA and Chemist all within a very short stroll, a nice and quiet area away from the crowds of Mooloolaba and further north.

A surprise to us were the great walkways around the shore, a highlight is the walk to Currimundi Lake and back which takes 1 hour round trip although there is a good cafe at the lake for a coffee stop.

We are so glad we chose Caloundra, and this particular caravan park to explore the region. It is close to everything you need for a great holiday. Beautiful beaches, excellent coastal walk, the Surf Club next door has delicious meals (it gets busy so book a table) and plenty of free play spaces around town for the kids. I will definitely recommend this spot for friends.
