Here from the midwest for Puerto Rico Vacation- with kids. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Resort. A 5 minute walk from the hotel is a hidden gem for bkfst, lunch and light dinner. The variety is perfect for all tastes. If you want American fare (not exactly as you are used to) they have plenty of choices. They also have some mor typical dishes. They serve gelato and flan, amongst others things for desert. When in Puerto Rico, all of the servoce is slower- except here. Pie Bello staff was quick, courteous, and bilingual.
You have to try the crepes with dulce de leche for breakfast- tropical fruit on the side or in the crepe!! Yum!! We had eaten at the Dennys the day prior and the food was average, and the service was slow.
Try out the Piu Bello for an evening snack, or a full meal. It was so good, and a welcomed difference in service from some of the other restaurants in the area which seem to think they do not have to compete for the tourist customer. Don't fall for a familiar name, try a new place with great food and good service!! We plan to have breakafast there every day this week. They have so many things on the menu we will likely never have the same thing twice.
