“Loved every minute”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

We stayed at a condo. The beach was one block away, beautiful blue waters, activities, vendors, food and bars! What more could you ask for.

Theres so many eating choices around the area from American fast food (Burger King, Taco Bell, Subway), American sit down restaurants (Ponderosa, Outback, Chilis, Ruth Chris) to local Puerto Rican restaurants. There's a Walgreens down the street a couple of blocks in both directions

Very nice area, convenient and close to the airport. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Intercontinental. The beach is directly behind the resort, beautiful blue waters, great waves, jet skiing and other activities, vendors, food and bars! What more could you ask for. Al

Some say its a bit touristy, but hey I'm a tourist, so that is fine.

Overall, very nice area, convenient and close to the airport. I would definitely stay again.

“Best beach ever”

Best beach in San Juan. If you stay on this beach anywhere it is close to a huge amount of restaurants both local and hotels. It is a beautiful beach.

“Pretty Beach & Plenty To Do!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

This is one of the best, prettiest, and cleanest beaches in Puerto Rico! The water was blue and pretty and so warm. The sand was soft and there were even seashells that washed ashore.

There are a few touristy places to eat and drink, but there are plenty of authentic Puerto Rican places if you know what you're looking for or you an ask a local.

it's quite safe as well, I felt comfortable as a single female walking around at night. There is police presence as well.

Many of the hotels are steps from the beach and 10 minutes from the airport.

It's only 10 minutes away from Old San Juan by taxi ($21.00) or 75 cents for the bus.

It's a nice section to enjoy a vacation with both a city feel and a tropical beachy feel.

“beautiful beach”

The water at this beach is much calmer than Condado! there were massages and jetski available. Very picturesque and nice for a laid back day on the beach
