“Interesting and relaxing”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

We'd been cautious about this Museum after reading some poor reviews. However, when we visited, there was no pressure or restriction about what one tasted. The wines from the local sponsoring vineyard were not exciting, but the full range of Sherries for tasting made up for it. After touring the Museum itself, in places quaint, in others bizzarre, a few quiet moments in the courtyard savouring another glass or two of Olorosso passed a satisfying Sunday afternoon.

“Self Service?”
Reviewed May 13, 2012

Choice of €4 for plastic cup & tastes of 2 reds, 1 white & 1 Dulce, plus visit to museum (8 rooms) showing history of vineyards or €10 for glass with above plus 3 'special' tastings. We went for the €10 one & found we were left alone to help ourselves prior to the tastings. You could, if you were that way inclined, make an absolute pig of yourself as no one seemed bothered to say anything to us for quite sometime. Anyway, museum interesting & just about the right amount of info before you stop taking it all in. Worth a visit although bottles to take away are a bit overpriced but the 2008 Red is nice.

“Good Wine. Informative Museum”
Reviewed May 11, 2012

Museum is 4euros. It is a fairly small museum but offers a lot of information (written and visual) about how the wine is made in Ronda. There were 8 types of wines for tasting and you can drink all you want. There is also a store inside, which sells different types of wines. Definitely worth a visit!

“Much better than I expected”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

A small winery but with the original Roman bodega on the lower floor. The guides speak English, the wine is local and varied and there is a fascinating exhibit on the history of winemaking.
