Booked 2 rooms here and I have to say the staff were lovely, from the moment I spoke to Elaine on the phone I had a good feeling about this hotel. It is a little difficult to find but my 5 year old Tom Tom did the trick.
The food is excellent some of the best we have tasted in Spain. Not Spanish but really good.
The staff are a font of all knowledge when it comes to activities around the mountains, walking cycling etc.
The only problems were the 0515 train and the neighbours dogs. The dogs did shut up at 2230 until 0730 ish so not a huge sleep problem but as dog lovers it is distressing to hear constant barking for hours and hours.
The train line is literally across the road from the hotel. I believe some rooms are double glazed, ours wasn't. It is not a busy line but is enough to take away the 5 star rating we would have given it otherwise. We would not say don't go, but forewarned is forearmed. Go armed with ear plugs don't listen to the dogs and have a good timeMore
