If you're looking for a relaxed, off the beaten path spot, than you will love this place. The staff were so nice and accommodating (And very hard working! Do these people get time off?). The rooms are large and comfortable. Be sure to eat at the restaurant! We ate there twice, and both times the food was excellent (and reasonably priced, considering how gourmet the food was). Keep in mind that this is a very small hotel, and the staff wear many hats. There won't always be someone at the reception desk, and there's no dining options except for at dinner. I thought the "honor bar" was quite charming, since they can't really justify having a bar tender, you can just go behind the bar and make your own drinks and then write down what you had. Part of me wishes that we would have stayed in town (Ronda is about a ten minute drive), but if you want to escape and enjoy isolation, you'll love the MC. And for the price, you can't beat it.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have better views

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and it was a wonderful quite retreat after visiting Ronda and other places around Andalucia. The staff were fantastic and our room was quite large with a little patio just outside. The pool was also amazing and we used it quite allot. They have an honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks and snacks, and the breakfast was delicious! What a great stay.

Road to hotel is quite bad, for anyone visiting, if you’re coming in from Ronda, ignore your sat nav as it takes you down a horrible dirt road, instead go down to the bottom of the A374 and take the second turn towards the Molino del Puente and follow the signs from there.

We stayed in the Molino Del Arco in July for a few days

The Hotel is easy to find and it’s just outside Ronda, if you can’t find it with all the signs, then you shouldn’t be on the road!

The Hotel is located in the countryside and has beautiful gardens with a rustic look.

Yes, there is a dusty road leading up to the hotel but it is the countryside, just give the car a quick wash later…

Check in was smooth and was done by a very nice girl called Tamara, in fact Tamara done a lot of things but I will address that later…

The room was nice with a Loft area up the stairs where a pull out couch was located.

The room was nice, not super luxury but it did the trick.

I booked this hotel as they stated, on their website, that dinner would be outside in the evenings and It was disappointing to see that Dinner was held inside in a room with zero atmosphere. If you advertise dinner to be held outside, then hold it outside….

The food was basic to say the least and there was wasn’t 1 item that our table enjoyed.
We dined the rest of the days in a hotel down the road, Hotel Del Puente. They have a beautiful restaurant on site and the food was superb for less money.

The Gardens of the Del Arco are beautiful and very oldey world and we enjoyed walking around them.

I think Molino Del Arco has a great staff member on site, Tamara. She seems to do a lot and I think she is wasted at reception and should be made the manager.

Finally, the Molino Del Arco was nice, food was disappointing and I think it lacked the final touches.

Will we return to the Hotel…No, it just didn’t have the detail of what we were looking for but it does have huge potential

Me and my husband were absolutely blown away by this gorgeous hotel. The setting is breath taking and the room was just perfect (Room 1 Hojiblanca). All the amenities you could ask for were already in the room but it was never too much trouble we needed something else. The bed, pillows and bedding was the best part of the room! The stuff was very attentive and cheerful, always busy around the hotel and available to all your needs. Although it was winter the hotel grounds were very well looked after. Only a short drive to Ronda, it was the perfect location for a romantic getaway. We had breakfast both days, we really enjoyed the ham and the homemade jam, the fresh squeeze orange juice was delicious too. The common areas are beautifully kept and I couldn't fault it in any way, they have an honesty bar which it adds personality to the hotel. Overall a peaceful stay that I will treasure forever. Thank you to everyone that made it possible and special thanks to Juan, the owner of Molino del Arco.

Room Tip: rooms in the main hotel are beautiful

Our satnav took us to the wrong place but we eventually found it and had a wonderful welcome and a beautiful room. A swim in the beautiful pool and a nice dinner gave us a great stay to visit Ronda. Worth all the stars.
