This is worth a walk around just to check out the buildings and see the architecture. Also has some nice shops and restaurants.

We stopped at a couple other white hill towns, but Ronda was the clear favorite for us. If I were doing it over I'd skip the other stops and spend more time here.

PS - our other stops were Arcos and Zahara. Both had great views, too.

We were enchanted with the Old City and were lucky enough to stay there for three days. We wandered through the small streets, visited the churches, and ate in the small restaurants. Our feet were getting tired so decided to take a tram/train tour we saw outside the Ronda Commerce/Tourist Office across from the Bullfighting Ring. We just thought we would be driving through the streets and seeing some of the sights we had walked by earlier. Oh no, we were taken on a wonderful ride up and down to places and spots we would never have found on our own nor would we have been able to walk to. And, the icing on the cake was when we rambled down, down, down to the valley below and we were looking way up at Ronda and the bridge. It was splendid. A photographer's delight. They take reservations for the little tram and we were just lucky to get the last two tickets.

The old town holds so much history and secrets , providing once again great views at every turn …also wandering around the very expensive homes

An old tradition in Spanish culture, that is hard to miss. Although a horrific game of bloodshed to oblivious bulls takes place, with an inevitable kill, it's hard to walk away from the tradition and pride a matador takes after years of dedication and training in the sport. Honesty reveals a mix of emotion, curiosity and thrill.
