Having experienced the re-created Humman baths in Granada, it was amazing to visit an actual Arab baths site & learn more about their function. Be certain to view the short video display as it puts everything in perspective & helps you understand the site.
We visited on a Monday & entry was free so another bonus!

We made a lightning visit to these baths as we found them on a walk, just before closing time. (Before literally stumbling across them, we didn't know they existed, which is a real pity).

The very nice attendant let us have a quick look around. What we saw in a short time was some Roman baths in superb condition. These baths were beautifully built, are beautifully preserved and thus very impressive. There is a nice (if winter weary at the time of our visit) garden and a water wheel. I wish we had had enough time to have a good leisurely look around and a chance to see the video. On the strength of our very short visit, we would highly recommend these baths.

Started well as entry free on Mondays, and within the baths was a cinema with 10 minute film in English on the history and perpective of Ronda. An excellent presentation which laid the foundations for walking round the ancient baths, gardens, water wheel.

These really are remarkably preserved baths and it's worth waiting for the available film, to understand how the baths functioned, then walking up to where the water was rotated by the donkey, to look at the channel for the water. It's amazing we can still see it.

Afterwards, we had a really good look at the walls and then walked over the low bridge, rather than going up the steps we came down, which led us a slightly less steep street back to town.
