“Not as good as others”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

It's currently rated number 2 in ronda and I am unclear why. Maybe just because its in a tourist hotspot . Try locos de tapa or casa mateo instead .. Won't go back here there are many better places to eat

“Tourist trap”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

This is just an under average tourist trap.
Tapas swimming in mayonaise, hard bread...
Just stomach filling, nothing more, nothing less...

“Best of the tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

After wandering around searching for a good tapas restaurant in Ronda, we took the tried and true approach of going to the one with the most locals - La Taberna. Good service from staff who enjoyed their work, good food both traditional and innovative and a lively location with plenty of activity.

“Best tapas ... with a smile”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

After some bad experiences earlier during this trip, I hadn't great expectations but this restaurant reminded me that there can be such a thing as an excellent tapa. Everything was very good, but I can mention the anchovy on toasted bred and the goat cheese on caramelized onions. Above all, you are served with a smile, and that is something you don't find so much in may tapas bar that are just tourist traps.
