Our family had a great 45-minute visit of this still functioning historical monument. Standing in the middle of the ring, you surely can sense the excitement of this sport. Or, sitting in the stance, you get a feel of what people see and hear over the past couple hundred years. Highly recommended.

Ok, I am an animal lover and cannot see myself attending a traditional bullfight. That being said, I appreciate the tradition, pageantry and historical significance of the art form. The Plaza de Toros in Ronda is the oldest in Spain and definetly worth a visit. The stark beauty of the arena, the museum displays--unexpectedly including a vast antique firearms and horse harness/livery collection from the 19th century--and the bullfighting museum were wonderful. There was something for everyone in our group to enjoy and linger over while waiting for all to finish. The audio guide was comprehensive. Nice prints/books in gift shop. The School of Equestrianism is located next to the bull ring and, if training is going on, visitors can watch. No such luck while we were there but there was one white horse putting on a little show of his own by posing--quite alone--in all sectors of the ring.

There is a small museum that was informative and interesting. It was great that we were able to walk all around the ring, into the ring, the stands, etc. A lovely venue!

A fantastic architectural gem, high in the mountains in the pretty town of Ronda. The entrance fee includes access to the behind-the-scenes areas, as well as the bull ring itself, and the museum displays. The town of Ronda is also a great place to visit.

Is really nice place to visit. They ticket allow you to visit all the places of the bullring. They have a museum with a lot of Memorabilia: guns, dresses, customes, etc.
You can see the little chapel where the bullfighters pray before entering the ring. You can go inside the ring.
