Somebody else said they would visit Ronda just for this and we
cannot agree more. This place is genius! Our hotel recommended it (unusually, we had not done any Ronda research) and we cannot express how happy we are that we ended up here. To miss this place is to miss an flavor experience that is hard to repeat.
There are 4 tables seating 4 people upstairs and that is it. In the summer, there are tables outside and people come from all over to eat at this place. The owner (he is Baque) and his wife (she is from Cordoba and cooks) are doing something so special with their food…it's one of most memorable food experiences of late. Guillermo explains the menu from start to finish which makes it even harder to choose! We started with 4 tapas and were blown away by the ingredients, combinations and presentation. Consquently, we just kept ordering more in spite of knowing we were just being greedy. In the end, we had at least 8 items including malaga salad, foie gras, hamburguesa, pork belly and finished with the gin and tonic sorbet. WOW! And…4 beers, 2 glasses of wine for €38…speechless! If you love food, this is the place for you!
