The views of the town and the gorge from the bridge are great. You also need to go down to the bottom of the gorge to get the best photos of the bridge. This is well worth a stop and the town is probable worth a night or two stay if you have time as well. We were able to cover the highlights in 3-4 hours including the great views of the bridge. It wasn't too busy at all on a Saturday in the middle of November either.

Takes about an hour and a half each way, it’s worth the drive. Ronda is a little quaint hilltop town with all the traditional Spanish sites ... old town, narrow cobblestone streets, restaurants. There’s a viewpoint for the bridge from the gorge below. Ask the tourist center where it is. Good place to spend a day.

If you go to the viewing platforms you will get great views of the bridge, but keep walking - in either direction - and you may quickly find equally good spots that are quieter and sometimes better.

Considering the "New Bridge" was built in the late 18th century over the 100m Tajo gorge it is truly amazing and the views from either side of the bridge are stunning - especially of the houses clinging to the rocks

You’ve heard about it , seen the screen saver on Windows computer , but you have to see and experience this lovely place with it’s stunning bridge . We visited in early November on a cool clear day and there we many tourists with the same idea . Make sure you take advantage of the many views of the bridge , underneath , valley side ( from Casa Don Bosco (2€ entry fee) ) , and then from Jardines de Cuenca ( rose garden walk ) . The whole town is lovely , so make a full day of it after you have had your fill of the bridge .

This is probably our favourite place in the world. History, culture, people and the breathtaking views.

This bridge is most definitely worth a visit - make sure you look at it from both sides of the road.

To get the best views you need to go down to the "mirador" located on the west of the bridge, you'll reach it through the old town at Plaza de María Auxiliadora.

We walked from the new town to the old town and were awe struck when we saw the bridge. We took our time viewing the bridge from all angles as the views are just fantastic. This is one of the must see attractions in Ronda and well worth a trip.
