Wow! Such amazing views. The rooms are clean and tidy, the decor may be a little tired but quaint and in theme with Ronda. A little noisy in the rooms, but this seems to be common in the older buildings in Spain. The staff are lovely and friendly.

The view and a terrace are very important to me and we have been moving from city to city and terrace to terrace on this trip to Spain. The Don MIquel has several rooms with small terraces big enough for two chairs directly over the gorge. It is simply spectacular. And if it is raining -- as it so often was on this trip to Spain, the view from the room with the balcony through French doors is also pretty swell. The rooms without balconies have very small windows and you have to be standing at them to have the view.

We had room 306 with one of the few balconies. Unfortunately that meant also a very small 135 cm bed. They do have rooms with twin beds, but none was available with a balcony for our stay.

The room was clean; the bathroom while small and cramped had a lovely tub, a bidet and was reasonably well lit. A real plus was the large room safe, big enough to stow both our laptops. This is an important security factor when traveling with electronics and we were very pleased to have this available. We always book hotels with room safes, but many of them are not big enough for a laptop; this one was huge.

The buffet breakfast is included in the room price and was fine; there were scrambled eggs, bacon and ham every morning as well as the usual array of cereals, breads, yogurt and fruit. One morning the only juice when we got there was pineapple, but there was orange juice the next morning. Coffee, tea and cocoa are all available. One morning when the eggs were gone, they made up another badge when I asked.

The staff were efficient and helpful; my husband needs two pillows and they sent one up right away. when he made the request. They have a luggage store room if one arrives before a room is available or needs to check out early and they also got us a cab to the station.

We would recommend the hotel for its views and location. It is an easy walk to the old town, to restaurants, and for access to the two hikes down into the gorge -- from either side of the bridge.

Room Tip: The view is everything; ask for a view room and a balcony.

This is a great location next to the gorge as said by all. We had the corner room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. There are plenty of places to visit within walking distance. Try to walk down the trail on the other side of the bridge for the best view of the bridge. Also check out to old bridge if you have time. The breakfast was great, Would try other restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Room Tip: Book early and ask for a room overlooking the gorge.

Don Miguel is a good located, well worth hotel. Hotel staff are really friendly. We travelled by car so their garage was really helpful and safe ( As all over the Spain, we had to pay a considerable amount for it ) The room was big and had a great view of bridge. We had unforgetable morning with the view, sunshine and a good breakfast. Only we had problem with our internet connection but we are contented to stay in this hotel!!

We stayed just one night here whilst holidaying in Spain. I think value for money wise, it's very good. The rooms we had, both gorge side, were basic , but clean, we had a good lunch in the cafeteria, unfortunately the restaurant was closed that night, but there were plenty of other restaurants open within easy walking distance. Breakfast was ok, the waiter a lovely chap with a permanent smile on his face, nothing was too much trouble. I think to sum up, it suited our needs exactly, I don t know if I d want to spend two weeks there, but for a short stopover, it's in the perfect situation, and we enjoyed our stay.

The location of this hotel could not be better, right next to the famous gorge and close to all of the old town of Ronda it makes for a perfect base. The terrace would be lovely in the summer over looking the Ronda bridge. The rooms were basic but clean and perfectly adequate we stayed in 101 which had a separate balcony over looking the gorge - very spectacular if you have a head for heights!! Receptionist was very helpful although we thought the parking offered at £12 per night a little steep even if it was in a secure garage!

Room Tip: Room 101 faced the gorge and had a small balcony

Hotel is centrally located and just off the bridge - amazing views from bedrooms and dining areas. The trek to the room is a little interesting - down a lift and then back up again. Room was clean and well apportioned. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was definitely a bonus and a great place to watch people traffic (was in town for the local bullfight / flamenco festival) Wifi connection through hotel was a bit hit and miss - counldn't connect in rooms, reception or corridors consistently, but coverage on the balcony was fine.
