The hotel was the mansion where the Poet Pedro Perez lived. It's magic to be there.Every detail has the shadow of the past....paintings,furnitures,lights..
The bedrooms are great with lovely furniture. From the balcony you can appreciate outside.
The bathroom is very confortable too.
Walking you reach El Tajo with stunning views of the cliffs, mountains and valleys.
At the evenig times you eat delicious tapas with wine.

Hotel is located right next to the new bridge (the old bridge that is in all the photos) on the old town side, so is perfectly located for both the old and new town. Small hotel with around 10 rooms, with a small bar outside for a pre-dinner drink. The bar closes to non-residents by around 10pm, so no need to worry about noise from there. Hotel rooms are exactly like the photos, very comfortable, if decorated in an old fashioned "country" style.

The hotel staff really could not be any more helpful, offering suggestions for places to visit and restaurants (directing people away from the tourist traps in the new town).

No parking at the hotel (other than to drop off bags in a 20 bay immediately outside), but has an arrangement with the main public car park 10 minutes away for a discount rate of €10 per day. However on street parking is available in the new town, but not the old town, where it is residents only.

In all a perfect location for a stay in Ronda.

This is a lovely restored boutique style hotel near the Puente nuevo. It is less than two minutes walk from the gorge.
I stayed in room no. 3 and had an excellent view of the gorge and the Parador.
The decor is very traditional but elegent which suits the period of the hotel.
The room itself was spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. It was spotlessly clean too.
What makes this hotel is the location and the staff who cannot do enough for you. They are just so welcoming.
Juan Luis who works on reception is so helpful, he cannot do enough for the guests. He provided a map of Ronda and pointed out the sites to visit and their localities and the best restaurants and bars in Ronda.
The breakfast was also a real surprise as it is so plentiful. We were so full that we did not eat until the evening!
Miguel serves the breakfast which is very Andalucian. He is a lovely fellow full of passion about the local food. His English is limited but it was not a problem for me as I speak Spanish.
The choice on both days to start with is delicious fresh tomatoes, cold meat cuts - jamon and cheese with warm bread. This is followed by croissant covered in chocolate with fresh fruit. On the second day we had the second choice of fried eggs cooked with onions, another speciality of the region.
Ronda was even more beautiful than I expected and this was enchanced by the beautiful hotel and staff.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is fantastic value for money. I will return.

Room Tip: Select a corner suite as they are larger with more light. Consider travelling by train to Ronda fro...

The fact that I am currently staying at this hotel & am yet to retire for the night is testament to how amazing I believe it is. People can make or break a hotel & this place definitely fits the former. From the moment we arrived we were told 'this place is your home' and we feel so incredibly welcome. I am yet to catch the name of the gentleman running reception but he is amazing. Full of information, patient, incredible English skills, although my daughters is fluent in Spanish & nothing is too much trouble.
Adding to this the property is beautiful. So clean, amazing decor & a location that cannot be beat. I've reviewed many properties all over the world in my travels & this tiny place would rank up there with the highest. Do yourself a favour & stay here. You will not regret it.

Excellent location, could not be more convenient. Publiccarpark is a short walk away. Room was comfortable and spacious. Good value. Best thing was the helpful staff - I left some stuff in the room, and they went out of their way to send it to me - cannot compliment them too highly.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a view/oulook. Rooms at the rear can be close to an airconditioning unit on the buil...

Stayed here for two nights. Literally just a stone's throw away from the Puente Nuevo. In the middle of town where you can walk anywhere. Room 8 was very comfortable with three balconies that opened to the street. An old mansion with a great staff and great breakfast. Please do yourself a favor and stay here when in Ronda.
