Menu outside promised 1€ tapas and gave a good choice. Sat down and asked for Tapas menu and were told they would get it, so ordered drinks. Then told that there is no choice apart from 8 Tapas for 9€. Turned out to be 8 single items of dubious quality and certainly not what I would have called tapas.

The set menu is good, the staff have very limited english but are very helpful, the menu is typical of the region and you take full advantage of this, they also have a good selection of wines.

Worse place in Ronda. You will be seated and recommended wine that is more expensive and they will tell you that other wines are finished in stock. The food was really bad. I had the paella mix that did not contain any meat or fish, just chicken stock! The bread will be charged your bill with 1,5 euros / person.

This is not cheap. Neither will you have to remortgage, but one thing is certain...it will be a meal to remember. Using regional ingredients, and a more than acceptable wine list, the deceptively simple dishes are generous and cooked to perfection. Service is discreet and superbly professional, and you WILL be remembered on your return visit years later. I go to Ronda at least once a Year, and I have to budget at least 50 euro per head, plus a decent tip...you'll want to leave one after the feast. A great Location is also key to this restaurant 's appeal. Go for game meat, especially jabalí (wild boar). Dècor is traditional bullfighting memorabilia, evocative even if you don't approve of the "sport".

This restaurant fronts a main square which looks pleasant from the outside. Don't be fooled by the cute dog. The food here is not good.. Our group ate tapas and all the dishes were bad. Everything was deep fried and we felt we had encountered UFO s -unidentified fried objects ! Staff were quite pleasant and surroundings were authentic but food was undercooked. Quite a few of our group felt ill later that day.
