“A great lead up to Machu Picchu”
Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

A great tour around the Sacred Valley visiting the Inca Sites destroyed by the Spanish. There is real passion in the tales told by the Quechuan guides about their history.

“Sacred Valley tour with Amor Al Peru Travel was delightful!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We toured Sacred Valley of the Inca’s driving in a Mercedes motor coach with knowledgeable guides arranged by Amor Al Peru Travel (a great company). This beautiful valley between the towns of Pisac and Ollantaytambo was such a delightful addition to our tour of Peru. The ruins and the views were spectacular. My favorite part was stopping at Awana Kancha (the Palace of the Weaver), a private co-op of local communities committed to preserving the traditional techniques of dying, spinning, and weaving Alpaca wool. They had animals to interact with (we got to feed them and walk among them), stations to show how the wool was worked and dyed, weaver demonstrations and then a store where proceeds go back to the weavers and their communities. The weavings were of high quality and reasonable prices. If you plan to purchase some weaving, do it here. P.S. Very nice bathrooms in the store.

I did a tour of 5 days in the Sacred Valley of the Incas a couple of days ago.
It was organised by 'Viajes Pacifico' Very good hotels, excellent, interesting and
motivated guides and assistance everywhere and all the time, when necessary.
Extremely satisfied of this excellent and efficient organisation. Bravo!

“This is a must in Cusco”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

The views are stunning. It is best to use a local guide to get explanations of what you are seeing. Plan on a half-day to see the major sites and wear good walking shoes. Well worth doing when in Cusco. It is only a short distance from Cusco center.

“Tour of the Sacred Valley”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

There were 8 of us traveling, and we arranged our private 1 day tour of Sacred Valley through RESPONSible tour agency. They were recommended by our hotel - Tierra Viva Cusco. They live up to their name - very reliable and prompt! We arranged everything from the States, and they arranged everything for us for the Sacred Valley tour. As per my request, they were able to get us the bus fares and entrance fees to Machu Picchu. Our guide is excellent! Highly recommended agency!
