This is my favourite place to check in whenever I'm in Bali; it's on the fringes of Ubud and just 10 to 15 minutes to the Gianyar wet market and perfect if you're looking for a getaway without the usual distractions such as TV and radio. There is internet in the main office. Breakfast is humble and made by locals and it is run pretty much like a local family do where everyone knows each other. Ensure that you state your preference; whether you prefer a bath or a shower or both and they will be able to direct you to the appropriate bungalow. I much prefer the 2nd storey of the lumbung which opens out to the main courtyard. It's got a clean energy to it as it was once built on palace grounds.
