We had a very pleasant two days at this very warm and welcoming b&b. The breakfast was beautiful and set us up for the day. The views from the windows were lovely. parking was easy. We will recommend the church to all our friends.

My mum and I spent a week at this wonderful guest house. Everything was perfect and couldn't find fault with anything at all. The beds were comfortable with Egyptian cotton sheets and feather duvets and pillows. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, homemade jams and marmalade and home baked bread, delicious. Jane and Tony were wonderful hosts and I really felt like a guest in their home. Nothing was too much trouble for them, we felt spoiled. Lovely sea views from the dining room and conservatory. The decor and furniture were lovely and very good quality. Just perfect in EVERY way and can't wait to go back.

we arrived around 3.15pm, and although it is a 4pm check in, Tony welcomed us and took us up to our room. which was bright and lovely veiws from both windows. tea and coffee was provided in the room with nice biscuits.the ensuite was very large with double washbasin bath and shower, the bathroom was carpeted, which for me is something i dislike in a bathroom as they hold a lot of moisture espcially around the toilet area. also above the two sinks were wall lights, which would have been of use, when my husband was shaving.but neither of them had lightbulbs? and one of the spotlights in the ceiling was also out.
the bed was strange,it was very springy but it was the noise of springs as we sat on the bed and this woke us both everytime we turned during the night, this happened then every night we were there, making us very tired every day. not that good when you come away for a restfull weekend.
the television in our room, was a very old one and small, so really not that good to relax and watch whilst in bed. Breakfast was lovely and quality very good, although the bacon every day seemed hard as though it had been kept warm? the home made yogurt was delicious. we also did not enjoy sitting around a large dinner table with all the other guests to eat our breakfasts. it felt quite awkward for most of us sat around the table. there was one table for two in front of the window, which was taken on two of the days we stayed. we both disliked the seating plan at breakfast.
this reveiw must sound quite negative, but these are small things that could be changed very easily. we did enjoy our stay and the garden was a pleasure to sit in, and look over to the sea and the weather was very good for two of our days. Jane and Tony were very nice and obliging.
only one more thing, please can guests choose when they feel cold and would like the heating on, by being able to turn on their own radiators. it went very cold on the friday evening and we would have liked some heat. but could not be bothered to go back downstairs to request this.
we would stay here again if we came to weston, as we thought the area around kewstoke and sandy bay was nice. weston we did not like.

Room Tip: we had a room at the rear of the property, with great veiws.

A warm welcome and absolutely everything needed in a guest house makes this a top rated place to stay. The sea views are great and our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was generous and beautifully cooked. Heartily recommended.

Seven of us stayed at Church House while in Weston for a family funeral. We arrived after a 250-mile journey, to tea on the terrace overlooking the bay. Tony and Jane are the most wonderful hosts - helpful but not pushy, and always there just at the right moment to tend to our every need. Nothing was too much trouble. I think Tony is the 'Nannie McPhee' of Church House - appearing from nowhere just when you needed to know something - directions, restaurant, etc. Our rooms were stylishly decorated and, like the rest of the house, spotlessly clean. Good quality white sheets and towels. Lots of beverages and shortbread biscuits in the room (not the usual two tea bags - lots of teabags, coffee, hot chocolate and milk). Breakfast in the beautiful big dining room overlooking the bay was a lovely experience - fresh fruit (berries, mango, grapefruit, kiwi, etc, etc), lots of cereals, and then the truly delicious cooked breakfast!! We were made to feel like special guests, and we are already trying to think of excuses to visit again, which I am sure we will. This lovely B&B is superb value and you will come away feeling relaxed.

We have stayed many times here for the weekend, and would not stay anywhere else its home from home for us.Facilities are great.
Tony and Jane are very friendly and always welcome us with a nice pot of tea in the conservatory or garden depending on the weather.
This was our greatest find 9 years ago and we have been back at least once or twice a year ever since to visit friends.
