The Blue Boy is a great boutique hotel to stay in a quiet area of Rincón. Just getting there makes you feel welcomed and relaxed, the hosts are amazing people willing to make your stay the best one possible. It is a super clean, organized and wonderful place! Thank you Karen and Wes for the lovely time.

The place was beautiful and Karen and Wes' attention to detail made our stay impeccable. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable; I even loved the soft towels! The well-kept garden and the large pool area have a classic beauty that induces a sense of peace. We stayed in room #3, which had a nice seating area outside the door and easy access to the main entrance, yet felt very private. We also enjoyed very much the variety of delicious breakfasts Enrique prepared for us every morning (everyone raved about the french toasts, for good reason, but my favorite was the omelette). The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach (we were happy to be able to borrow beach chairs and coolers from the Inn). It is also a short walk or drive to great yoga studios and some of the best restaurants in the area (and probably the Island).

Good friends stayed here in 2015, and they invited us to join them in January of 2016. We are now just a few weeks aways from our 2017 trip, with yet another couple joining us. I can honestly say I've never been as excited about an upcoming vacation as I am about this second visit to the Blue Boy. I know our stay will be the ultimate in relaxation and comfort. Wes and Karen are lovely. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is delicious. The rooms are impeccable, the grounds lush and peaceful. The beach is truly just a two or three minute walk; the water clear and blue, the sands fine and white. If you want excitement you can find it, but be prepared to just want to relax!

We just got back from another stay at the Blue Boy Inn. This time we stayed for 10 days (December 23 to Jan 2) unlike our last visit of only 2 days. It was wonderful. We stayed in the same room (room 6). Wes and Karen have made some minor updates, the room now has a king sized bed and one wall painted with an accent color that brightens up the room. The WIFI is great in the room (another improvement by Wes). Breakfast has changed a little with there now being a menu of great choices everyday. The crepe is not to be missed.

This is a quiet little place, where you can sit by the pool and do nothing all day if you wish, or take a short walk to the beach and use the beach chairs (provided by Blue Boy) if that is what you enjoy. There are several resturants that are a two minute walk to get something to eat or to enjoy the sunset with your drink of choice. We went for a sunset sail that started at the boat ramp a minute walk away.

This trip we decided to travel up and down the coast doing something different every day. Karen and Wes were very helpful as they make it their business to know about the surrounding area and have visited most of the places we wanted to go to. They keep binders in the lobby, one about place to go and things to do and the other with resturant menus. You can use them but you get even more information talking with Karen.

Room tip: Use the interactive map on their website to help choose a room. Room 6 is very quite and looks out onto the garden.

Karen and Wes are such wonderful hosts in a perfect setting right next to the beach. They help you out with any type of request. The rooms are spotless as well as the rest of the house. It has a personal, cosy touch.
Breakfast is fresh with lots of variety to choose from.
