It was a good service but you gotta have a pool to make the experience more interesting. The rooms were awesome and the cleanliness was as expected. We enjoyed the whole stay specially with the nice ocean view and close to the best beaches in the area.

My husband and I stayed at the Sole during a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and just we needed for a long weekend getaway. The ambiance we amazing. There was an event each night if we choose to go to the Bar Lounge. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us; which was great. They have Karaoke night; which both my husband I participated in – it was such a great group that evening we all had a blast!
I would visit Sole again. This was the perfect gateway for us.

Visited Sole in Rincon with my boyfriend in the summer. This hotel made our stay even better. We got a lovely room with fantastic view. The staff was friendly, and we had nothing to complain about regarding the service or the over all quality of the place. The restaurant serves delicious quality food and it was hard to not eat there a every day. It tops all of the near by restaurants. The place is conveniently located and close to beautiful beaches. We will visit again for sure!

We stayed in the VIP suite and enjoyed the large size of the room -it felt like an apartment. The balcony was large and has great views of the water and sunset, however, it's shared with the neighbouring suite, and you can hear their conversations and the tv through the shared wall inside. Room was very tiled and seemed as if it hadn't ever been thoroughly cleaned.
The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant had consistently great food. A rental car is definitely needed to travel around Rincon restaurants and beaches. Sole's location is central enough that things aren't a far drive away.

I agree with the reviewer that said this property has both good and bad points. First the BAD...We stayed in the VIP suite and the mattress is SO HARD, my boyfriend complained about his back for days! There is no closet in this room....none. You have to use a make-shift wall-hanging with ropes (no hangers, so bring your own) to hang up clothes! A small wardrobe would help, since there is no closet to hang clothes and plenty of open space in the room to house a hanging closet. There is no hot/warm water for showers. The room is just average, but the best part about the VIP suite is the beautiful view from the balcony.

Now the GOOD...great food! We ate there more than once and very thing was really delicious, although the service is slow. Drink specials are wonderful and great prices! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon in time for Happy Hour. Yes the music is loud, but that is well noted in the previous reviews and part of the reason we chose this hotel. We were there for the weekend and danced the night away with the DJ on the lower level and more fun on the upper level club. Had a great time...slept great (except for the bed) and the noise didn't bother us in the VIP suite.

Overall, this was a OK location, but we did enjoy our trip to Rincon.

To our future and actual guest we are located in street #413 in Rincon, PR in direction to the lighthouse. We have the secondary street in town were this can take you to many walking distant beaches as Marias, Domes others as Sandy beach, Steps or Tres palmas, public beach or almendros you will need a car to get to each one. We are 5 minutes car drive from town, very close bakerys and coffe shops, we have a beautifull ocean view and sunsets. There are some things that we dont have control over and its the outsides noises from our Guest Inn. We apoligize for any inconvenience this can bring you.

Ok, there are good and bad things about this place. I'll start with the bad.

1. no hot water. it was the most uncomfortable shower. i've had to take cold showers before...while i was camping.

2. the mattress felt like cardboard. my husband and i were very uncomfortable, and woke up sore both mornings we were there.

3. on our 2nd night there, the service was quite slow. we ate there more than this 1 time, and the service seemed very slow compared to the other times.

4. the discount coupon. we were given a coupon for a 10% discount for the restaurant, but when i actually read it, it said you have to bring in a printed copy of your review from trip advisor. as a traveler, how am i going to print this review? i should at least be able to show it on my phone, or better yet, since i'm paying the money to stay in one of the rooms, offer that 10% regardless. i felt that was not fair to me as a traveler to have to print out a review. and furthermore, what if it's a bad review? then i have to print out my bad review to get a discount at the restaurant? oh well.

4. the curtains were see-through, especially if there was any light coming from the room, including the tv or laptop screen. this made it a little difficult for us to be a 'young married couple' .....if you catch my drift.

and now, the GOOD.

1. the location is great. a couple minutes away from the lighthouse and 2 beautiful, large beaches. the beaches do have lots of seaweed and nature debris, but thats to be expected when you're walking distance from the ocean and it's not a resort property.

2. the room was very clean. uncomfortable, but very clean. clean towels in the bathroom, toiletries, very basic design, no clutter, just clean.

3. the food was delicious. we tried a few of the dishes and loved them all. we didn't have any of the specialty drinks though.

Overall, this WAS NOT a bad stay, if the bed was more comfy, that would've made all the difference. we arrived in rincon after a 2 1/2 hr drive from san juan and the bed didn't ease our spirits. the staff was friendly, the crowd was nice, and there is LOUD music until about 1am. we're not bothered by noise, so this was no problem for us, but if you're looking to stay here and need peace and quiet, look elsewhere. can't beat the price, especially with the trip advisor special, and the restaurant is decent priced, maybe about $15 pp on food. we enjoyed rincon, but if we come back, we won't stay here unless they get a new mattress in room 1.....i hope the other beds are more comfortable.

Room Tip: ask how new the mattress is in the room you pick. and to be clear, there is no pool, the pool is the...
