“Roadside bar and grill that can NOT be beat!!”

Willie and Eric serve the best Pinchos and cold beer in Rincon. Pollo or one of the fresh fish...OR have their delicious Burrito. Love this place.

“Fun, friendy, AWESOME fish pinchos (kababs)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

La Cambija is a tiny roadside hut with picnic tables and stools at the small bar. You'll find it just S of the Balneario (public beach) across from the old train water tower at the curve in the street.
Brightly colored and always very clean.
Popular with locals and travelers.
We drove by for 2 yrs 'til we met the owner, Eric, at the gym. He mentioned that he had just purchased fish from the actual fisherman and would be serving it that day. How fresh is that?!
We ordered 2 mahi pinchos to go. Had a beer while waiting, people watched and chatted with strangers...all very friendly. There doesn't seem to be a "them and us" local vs traveler, attitude in Rincon.
The pinchos were very large, wrapped in foil to-go, came with a slice of garlic bread and Eric's special sauce.
Prices are very reasonable.
All of the other food that we saw being served (and happily consumed) looked delicious. Other friends rave about the fish wraps.
We stopped here several times per week during our 2 month stay in Rincon.
Ask what fish is fresh and you can't go wrong! Food will be great, you'll have fun, and probably leave having met some very friendly people.
Can't wait to go back!

“Good food, highly recommended by locals”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

Several locals told us to head here, we just kept driving by because we couldn't find a sign with the name. It's just at the bend of the road on the far side of the publico beach from where the shops are located inside the beach.

The asian tacos (in wonton shells) were delicious and the pinchos were very good. The chicken nachos were also quite good. Cool little place with outside seating, bartender was friendly and food was quick. Worth the trip!

“Cheap eats, good atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Ate here for lunch twice in 2 days. Great pinchos (kebabs) including great chicken and all sorts of seafood. The carne nachos were stellar and the prices are cheap! Best of all, the service is FAST for Rincon if you just want a quick bite. Right on the way to the balinero, can't miss it

“Fresh fish, cold beer, cheeky service.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012 via mobile

The fish is super fresh and the beer is ice cold. This place is a 10 in the food department! The down side is there is only on street parking and the bartender was not nice...next time we will get take out.
