This was our fourth time at the Lemon Tree and it continues to be a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed in many of the suites. They are all pleasing. Very comfortable beds, nice kitchens and plenty of room especially because of the large outdoor space each one has right over the ocean. The beach, which is a few steps down the stairs, is beautiful. It goes on for miles in both directions and you will probably be the only one on it. Shopping and restaurants are a few minutes away by car. Many of the other guest you meet there come back every year like we have and I think thats the best endorsement anybody can give. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Gorgeous place! Great ocean views from the Mango suite's private terrace. We stayed 3 nights and barely saw any other people, though the parking area was full most nights. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. Terrazzo floors handled sandy feet in style. Beach access was simply down a flight of stairs to the sandy beach below. Bed was clean and cozy. Shower pressure could have been a bit better (long hair took a bit of patience) but was fine overall.

Definitely take advantage of the "shop for you" service offered by excellent innkeeper Bella Jane! We had our little fridge stocked upon our arrival, which saved us from having to find a grocery store for the morning's breakfast. (Best $25 ever spent!)

I would highly recommend this place!

Room Tip: Mango Suite was lovely. You could hear the ocean in every room! There was some noise occasionally...

We ended our 10-day driving tour of Peurto Rico with 4 days at the Lemontree. The accommodations were wonderful, comfortable and the view of the Caribbean excellent. Our suite, the Banana, was well equipped - we had everything we needed. Staff was unobtrusive, allowing us privacy, but always available if we needed anything, which were only friendly chats with the warm and knowledgeable owners, who were so giving of their time and information about how to get around Rincon, best places to snorkel, eat, see the sunset, buy rum.....our questions were endless and Bellajane was a perfect hostess. It's was a plus to us that she is from our home state of NC and graduated from our alma mater, UNC-CH (GO HEELS!). The Lemontree is not a 5-star resort with unlimited bars, restaurants and activities (YUCK) but it IS a peaceful, relaxing, quiet and small suite hotel with a deck featuring a view out to the Caribbean that does not quit, a very comfortable bed with high quality linens, and a beautiful bathroom with terra cotta tile and milk glass partitions, spacious shower and jacouzzi. It should also be noted that the mini kitchen allowed us to make coffee and toast, scramble eggs, and make sandwiches without wasting precious vacation time searching out breakfast and lunch places, waiting in line in restaurants, etc. Groceries are easy to get everywhere in PR and I loved having my coffee on the deck watching the sunrise each morning over the sea and dining al fresco for the meals we chose to make ourselves. Did I mention the waves lap right under the decking at high tide, you can almost touch the pelicans when they fly by and there is great snorkeling just off the beach right in front of the Lemontree. The Lemontree was our favorite accommodation of our entire trip and we also loved the funky, small-town Latin Caribbean vibe of Rincon. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to return in the future.

Room Tip: Look at the photos on their website and choose according to your needs. The descriptions and photos...

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Lemontree and loved the proximity to the ocean and to downtown Rincon (you can hear the waves!). Lovely and simple accommodations and everything you need in a kitchen (including a blender for those blended rum drinks). They also provided folding beach chairs which we took with us each day - a nice touch. The owners both came around to greet us and provided their contact for any questions or issues. Our direct tv stopped working the third night so I called to let them know. I was hoping it would have gotten fixed the next day but it never did nor did the owners contact us to follow up. A missed opportunity I think and also kind of a disappointment. Overall we definitely recommend Lemontree and would book again.

Room Tip: Melon Suite is perfect for two people. It has access to the beach below and it's own area with t...

My wife & I recently stayed for a week here. She worked, I enjoyed the balcony, walking the beach, and floating in the Ocean. Good walking south, (check the tides) Slightly more-slopped beach than I remember, but a good walking beach that was surprisingly empty. We stay here for the 20' balcony. Terrific for watching the pelicans dive with morning coffee, followed by a walk is a wonderful way to start the day. The living room was rarely used. There is a sort of sleeper couch a tiny TV which was never turned on. The kitchen is adequate and decently equipped (they even have champagne glasses. Small refrigerator and tiny freezer that couldn't make ice. The only a/c is in the bedroom, but was not used because of the refreshing breeze. Love the sound of waves at night. You need a car to stay here, but several restaurants up the hill a short walk away. On sight managers, incase you need assistance.

The Lemontree is a gem in Rincon,PR. It's nestled on a not too heavily traveled road and (the best part) it's right on the water! The views from our very private balcony were spectacular. The staff and owners could not have been friendlier, the rooms clean and the place was quiet. I will be staying here again!

My partner and I spent seven nights at LemonTree in a comfortable one-bedroom directly on a Caribbean beach: leaving windows open at night, the waves cushioned our sleep (I'm usually an air conditioning dependent sleeper, but the ocean sound and breeze convinced me to let go of AC for the week even though the bedroom - though not the living room/kitchen - had air conditioning. We made breakfast every morning and dinner twice in the modest but workable kitchen, and ate out on the deck overlooking the sea and the sunset. Needs a rental car -- the best beaches are a drive -- but a dozen fabulous beaches and several terrific restaurants in easy reach, from famed Atlantic surfing beaches on the north side of Rincon to laid-back stretches of calm Caribbean water to the south (at one beach we visited twice, Tres Hermanos, just 10 minutes to the south, we were the only humans on a couple of miles of spectacular sand.) Host family gracious, helpful, responsive, and warm. Four thumbs up!
