Was closed when we went. Very convenient to Rincon. Had a nice view, but if you didn't see it you wouldn't miss anything important.

I missed being here for sunset. I was here in the middle of the afternoon. It is on a lovely piece of land overlooking the water. Gorgeous, breathtaking, panoramic views of the ocean from this well maintained, manicured park. It is a clean, pleasant space that has sitting areas with benches. There are surrounding walkways along the edge near the ocean under tropical shade trees with lots of plants and flowers. The lawn is bright green with edged curbs. There is a shelter/gazebo that serves as a look out point. There is a concession/food purchasing area that was closed when I was there. The clean bathrooms were open. A police officer patrols the grounds on foot. There is no charge for parking or entering. The lighthouse perches on a ridge above rocky cliffs ocean side. It is a quiet peaceful area. You down upon the surfing beach,(Domes Beach) watching the surfers trying to catch a wave. You see the nuclear facility up the road. Above you inland you see houses perched on the ridges of Barrio Puntas. El Farro Lighthouse is a nice spot at the end of the road worth the scenic trip.

Short drive from beach resort we were staying at, was this lighthouse. The grounds were well maintained & good to walk around, with great ocean views cliff side, tropical local plants, trees, & flowers, sitting areas & benches, a shelter/gazebo like look out point & also view of the beach next to it which is frequented by surfers since Rincon is The Surfing Capital of the Caribbean. Looks like they have a concession/food purchasing area & bathrooms but these were closed at the time we were there. There was also a police officer patrolling the grounds on foot. They have a parking lot and there was no charge to park or to enter the grounds. Great for picture taking. Wished I'd seen the sunset on this spot. Must be absolutely stunning!

We almost missed this one. The grounds are well taken care of with walkways along the edge near the ocean are in good repair along with the railing. Someone was setting up for a wedding (what a great spot). Iguana sunning on a rock, view of surfers on Domes Beach.

El Faro Lighthouse is a place you must go see at Sunset. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing the sunset from here and seeing the surfers having fun at the same time. We even saw a cruise ship passing by...
