After catching the ferry (40 min) from Auckland ferry terminal we caught a cab to The Oyster Inn for lunch. Ordered oysters kilpatrick which were over done. Beef cheek for main, which was nice, beef was tender. Had a cheese plate for desert. (Cheese, honey comb and sweet candied walnuts)
The blue cheese was delicious.
Staff were friendly and explained the meal deal, and helped with our ordering.

Perry and the entire staff at The Oyster Inn are top notch. First class all the way with some of the best food we had during our two and a half week visit to NZ!

While touring the island, we came upon The Oyster Inn and decided to check it out. It was lunch time and we were very lucky to get the last table available. Three of us had the local Oysters and one had the Pumpkin Ravioli. These were the best, freshest Oysters you could ever imagine. And the roasted potatoes cooked in duck fat were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The one who had the ravioli which was a very generous size, really enjoyed that as well. So even if you’re not an Oyster eater, there’s always Ravioli. Service was excellent, as well as the beautiful ocean view from the balcony where we ate.

Had a quick light meal here while filling in time to catch the ferry. Friendly staff, and a great meal. There were six of us .

Actually we wanted to eat Bluff oysters but there was not yet. 1 dozen $55. We felt a bit expensive but these tastes were so good. Fleshed oysters was rich even they are small. Other two tasted also rich and creamy.
Waiheke beer was like Pilsner. If you like the taste, let’s try it.
