Easily the nicest hotel I have every stayed in. Beautiful location, right on the edge of the lake and framed by mountains. The facilities are amazing, especially the pool and thermal suite.Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Took my wife to The Hotel Europe for a short break. Had a great time. Herself loved the spa. Dinner was beautiful, headed to the bar for a few quite drinks afterwards with some trad music playing in the corner which was a nice little touch. Quite simply the whole experience was brillant. Enjoy.

2nd time at this hotel & hope to go back! Our room was upgraded so was nice & spacious with great view. We took a flight from Dublin & stayed in hotel for 2nights, a 20min taxi ride. I loved that staff were all local & were very attentive & child friendly. Our baby had a great time here. He loved the pool & getting food & bottles for him was never a problem. Spa is fab & active area just as nice. You need to book treatments well in advance as spa gets booked up. Had a two hour treatment and by end of it thought I was floating off to heaven. Relax afterwards on warm marble loungers overlooking lake & sip delicious smoothie. My only one complaint would be the hard foam pillows. I did ask if it was possible to get soft feather pillows but we were just given more of the same. I'm fussy about my pillow ;-)

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view from 3rd or 4th floor. Book spa treatments prior to arrival.

My partner and I have stayed here four times in total over 5 years . Usually short breaks but every time we visit we are always suprised at the subtle ways this fantastic establishment has evolved . Discreet improvments to areas like the breakfast / dining room are simply inspired , if the world beating view of the mountains and lake dont impress the spectacular breakfast and service surely will . There are many beautifully designed areas here not to mention the spa where all track of time and stress simply evaporate away .
The dining rooms are structured so that tables are well spaced , enabling a degree of privicy even when busy , food and service was for us exelent , great care is given to your individual orders with meat being cooked exactly how it was ordered . Big Jug of Iced water , stuff like that you have to fight for in other hotels.
Well worth a visit ...Highly recomended

Room Tip: Most of the rooms we have stayed in have recently been redecorated to a very high standard . But the ones with a lake view are just amazing

My wife and I visited Killarney during September 2012. We visited this hotel 30-years ago during our honeymoon. The hotel is more than nice today.. it is an excellent hotel.. certainly 5 stars by any standard. Rooms are very well appointed, newly updated with modern decor and conveniences.. impeccable service.. fantastic spa services.. beautiful lakeside location. We were told that the hotel was recently upgraded with a 150 Euro investment by German owners. The breakfast buffet is very good; with fresh food to order if desired.

We did not have dinner at the hotel since we visited Rozzers Restaurant (traditional continental), Chapter 40 (modern), and West End House (contemporary).
