We were pointed towards this eatery by our accommodations local manager. He ate here several times a week and recommended we gave it a try. The cafe is not as pleasing on the eye as some of the other more tourist oriented outlets nearby, but we wanted real Turkish food.
The owner spoke little english, but she gestured to us to enter and choose what the cafe had prepared that day.
There isn't a menu as such, if you see what you wanted, you just pointed.
We decided to have a bit of everything, it was all vegetarian and it was delicious. We sat outside under the covered terrace with the locals enjoying the moment.
If you wish to experience how the locals eat, then the Nisan Cafe will not disappoint.
