Great ... if you like Fruit Bats ... and I do. Large colony of them here ... chattering, squawking and carrying on as they do. Not somewhere you'd stay for a long time but worth a stop to see the spectacle.

Bats have destroyed this park, it smells like bat poo and urine everywhere and the council don’t care. Used to be nice now it’s the worst park I have seen

There is one area of the park that is overrun with bats so best to stay away from there. There are heaps of different plants, lots of space to move around, quite a few Pokestops and gyms if you’re into Pokémon Go and nice picnic spots.

Great for a walk, some fresh air and exercise. The kid’s playground is awesome and there are a few shaded spots to sit around there as well. Heaps of parking available near the playground and library area.

We like to pay a visit to the library at the same time which has some great areas and a coffee shop.

The entrance of this park was majestic. I liked it! We visited everything. They had some beautiful flowers.

However, what took our interest is the many bats that were in the trees in the middle of the day. They made lots of raucous. It was loud, but interesting!

I also liked the palm trees. There were many of them here.

We had a good hike with beautiful flowers and bats to guide us on our way!

Mmmmmmm bats have left this once beautiful park a danger zone, closed off by council . Once they leave (maybe winter) I hope it can be restored to its former beauty. Is always (except now) a great venue for a quiet sit or family Photos or a stroll..... sad face
