We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children. We stayed in 2 connecting rooms.

We booked this hotel b/c we had an early flight the following day. When we arrived with all our suitcases, car seats, stroller, travel cot, kids, etc. there was noone to help with anything. We had to get the trolley ourselves and push it to the reception. When I asked the reception staff why they did not have a porter...her reply:"He's busy." Now that's service for you...do everything yourself. She should have apologized to us(hotel guests w 3 children) for the lack of service.

The rooms were modern but not clean. My daughter(21month old) dropped something on the floor but when I picked it up...I saw a pubic hair stuck to it.The bathrooms were not clean either. There was mildew on the curtains: disgusting!

The architecture and interior design of this hotel are a real treat, from the inside and outside.
The rooms are newly furnished and are functional and appealing.
Problem is, the investment and attention to detail appears to have ended when the building got finished. The staff is on total autopilot: long lines at check in with one guy chatting away on the phone, two guys looking mostly at the ceiling, two people checking out Quatar Airlines crew, one women sharing her family history with a guest while checking ONE person in for 20 minutes, and the junior guy working the long line.
When you ask for a quiet room away from the elevator you get a room very close to the elevator where all the other 150 guests of that level come by chatting and hollering all night - e.g. “I don't care what you ask for - if you aren't airline crew you are completely totally not of any concern to me”. Once in the room, it was cooking despite the fact that the window was open. Also, the remote for the TV was missing so that one couldn't cut the blooming muzzak. Called down and ask that someone would come - not in 15 minutes. At which point I went down and got a new room - after being in line again - this time even longer. The Club level lounge isn't staffed in the evening. There is a dining person stopping by replenishing the buffet occasionally who knows nothing else or prefers not answer anything else. The internet access comes without intelligible instructions and the guest service line is mostly busy. So, if ambiance is what you are looking for and if you don't mind to fix up everything else for yourself, this is the place to stay at Malpensa. I do say though that it is in convenient walking distance from the terminal.

The new Sheraton is a good addition to Malpensa and provides a huge amount of convenience for travellers.

The rooms were fantastic - very big in size, and also clean and comfortable. Also has a well equiped gym.

The only negative I have is the restaurant. It is a huge area with a very high roof and accordingly has no atmosphere. The food however was good.

This hotel is very useful for travelling and connecting in-out Malpensa, however I was surprised that a brand new hotel doesn't look like so.
The rooms are very good but from a new hotel I was expecting something more.
The swimming pool and spa are very nice and the location (right at the airport) makes the difference. Breakfast was very good.

This is one of the best last minute decisions I've ever made. The original plan was to go from Bologna to Lake Como and then drive to Malpensa early in the morning for a 10:15 am flight. We opted instead to stop in Modena for a little shopping and lunch and then on to Parma for some more shopping. This was a great relaxing and fun filled day in two of the less traveled cities and was a great way to finish a 2 week trip to Italy. The drive from Parma to Malpensa took a little over 70 minutes and it was so easy. We pulled up in front of The Sheraton, a porter comes out with the cart and you unload the car. You get back in the car and literally drive less than 100 feet and turn right into the rental car return at the airport. You turn in the car and walk about 200 feet into the Sheraton lobby and check in. It's that simple and your done. The room was modern and spacious and was only 87 euro for the night. There was a 3 euro internet fee for 1 hour of use. The restaurant in the hotel was pricey but the quality and service were top notch. They were very relaxed but very professional at the same time. We had a wonderful evening at the bar and got a full nights sleep before getting up at 7:30 am instead of 5 am if we had opted for Como. I can't think of a better way to prepare for a 10 hour flight home than being rested and relaxed, as day flights are very hard to sleep on, especially in economy, so being fresh and rested lets you enjoy the in flight entertainment, read, or even to start preparing your work for when you return, all of which passes the time very quickly.

Room Tip: Close to the elevator as you can get as this place is huge.
