“Beautiful views”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Loved the scenery but was disappointed by the waterfall. After long walk in heat with very helpful guide reached the first waterfall. Not that impressive and we were too hot to continue up further. Not a walk for the unfit or those unstable on their feet as scrambling overnrocks and bolders.

“Berber children”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

We went up to the mountains to the Berber villages to not only appreciate the vista but also to distribute pencils and little notebooks (and sweets of course) to the children. Some of the children were tending to sheep/goats but most of them were coming out of a village school luckily. Just make sure you do not get swamped!! We did the same when we went up the Atlas Mountains 10 years ago through Midelt to the Sahara.

“Day trip to the mountains”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Out of the heat and noise of Marrakech to the beautiful cool and quiet of the mountains. Get a driver and a comfortable car and stop at the Berber villages to see crafts and a different way of life .

“Nice day trip to get away from the craziness in the city”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

We did an excursion to the Atlas Mountains (the Ourika valley and waterfalls) two weeks ago. The villages in the mountains are adorable, and the views great. Although you are away from the hussle in the city, many vendors still manage to locate tourist stopping to take pictures.
