“Great steaks”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I visited here for our anniversary this weekend. The service was very friendly if perhaps a little too quick. My husband has the prime rib with a baked potato and salad. I had a sirloin steak with French onion soup and garlic green beans. The food did not disappoint. I can see how hand cutting their steaks could cause some inconsistencies but we were very happy with our meal. Definitely a nice place for a date night.

“Delicious Prime Rib”
Reviewed May 15, 2014

We had an early dinner on Saturday. There were two of us and we each had the 12 oz prime rib. Side consisted of mashed potatoes and garden salad. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. It was the best I have had in many years. It was so good we returned for the early bird special on Monday which consists of a 10 oz prime rib. We were a bit disappointed that it wasn't as good as the previous rib. We don't know if it was the cut or simply the preparation. It was still good but nothing like the previous rib which was perfect. We would howver try it again.

“Not bad”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

My team of co-workers were traveling through this area and stopped here for dinner. It wasn't bad, but nothing spectacular either.

The staff was friendly and helpful. She recommended their Gibson platter as an appetizer for our group of eight. She was right there was plenty of food... all fried. And while the different items were fresh and very tasty, they were.... all fried (mushrooms, green pepper strips, chicken strips, clams, shrimp, zucchini, onion rings, and a beef kabob). It was served with about 5 different dipping sauces

Our meals were good - we had steaks, cod, salmon, and prime rib. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really memorable either.

We at here after skiing on a weekday. It was not crowded. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious and well portioned. A nice touch was a visit from the chef.
