“Loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

Despite being curious about the heavy use of stainless steel servingware, this place turned out to be a gem. Not having my usual favourite of Madras Beef, I had Safedi Murgh. The chicken was amazingly tender and flavoursome, the curry rich and full in flavour.

The dishes appear to be small when served but after rice and naan, the whole meal was quite satisfying.

Outside of the stainless steel serving ware, the restaurant presents well, with wine glasses on the table with rich red table dressings. The Bollywood on the flat screen adds a nice touch but would be better off played via a stereo rather than screen to maintain an intimacy the places loses with use of a TV.

Meals were served quick, and for dinner for two we only hit $39! Cheap and cheerful, be sure to check it out when in Mudgee. BYO!

“Great Indian food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

Their food is equal to our secret Indian restaurant located on the Gold Coast & we always dine in or have take away from Rajarani's, the food has always been superb & we are so glad the locals & visitors all still enjoy the food which means the restaurant will stay open for our next visit x

This restaurant is really worth visiting in Mudgee. The meals are authentic and portions generous. We have been return customers here on each visit and the service and food are consistently great.

“Awful”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

What a disappointment. My wife had a bland, thin sauce, with what was obviously pre-boiled lumps of chicken thrown in at the last minute. I had a vindaloo, with a very harsh taste. I love properly cooked hot curries, but this was just the same bland sauce with a load of raw chilli powder thrown in at the same time as the same pre boiled lumps of chicken. And 2 minutes in the microwave didn't even fully heat the meat.

Come on, this is just not proper curry.
