Recently stayed here for 2 nights. The room was spacious, well presented and clean. The shower was excellent with good water pressure / flow. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was decent and the breakfasts served to the room were excellent and reasonably priced. The bed was a bit disappointing as I wasn't a fan of the hard mattress.

We stayed at the Wunderlight Motor Inn after staying at other Best Western motels and we were very disappointed when we entered our room. We wanted a Standard Room but the room we were given was in our opinion SUB Standard. We have always stayed in the most modest of rooms offered as we have simple and basic needs?. However, we felt uneasy as the room was very musty and had been sprayed with a room deodorant, the bathroom was still in the 1960s and it did not feel clean. The carpet was stained and the soft furnishings were faded and drab.
The mugs for the tea and coffee were we're thick and damaged. Long life milk sachets were in the fridge and we went out to buy fresh milk. Later in the evening we noticed a tiny plastic sign in the tea making cupboard saying fresh milk was available for the asking from reception.
Why were we not offered fresh milk on our arrival?
Our welcome was like our room shabby and cold. We'll never recommend this motel.

Room tip: Go and see the room first!

We booked one night at the Wanderlight Motor Inn over the internet. We asked for a quiet room. When we got there, we found we had the room nearest to the main road and right by a noisy airconditioning unit. We asked if we could have a quiet room and the very obliging reception person upgraded us to the end room. We really appreciated this gesture.

The room (No 35) was big and clean. It had a weird configuration - the handbasin was just OUTSIDE the bathroom and one had to open the bathroom door right out and step past the toilet to get into the bathroom. Really odd.

At night, a duo of horrible barking dogs kept on and on. Then, a loud party started up at 3 am???? We think it was over the back fence. Very loud talking which destroyed our sleep.

so, we didn't really have a good sleep.

In the morning, we went to use the teaspoons in the cupboard and found them all really dirty. Yeeecch.
This motel is ok, but with a lot of motels in Mudgee, expensive for what you get.

Room tip: Can't help people there. We thought we had a quiet room, but with dogs and parties, no

Central location. Stayed for one night, the price allowed us to spend dollars at the other attraction s of Mudgee. We were able to walk into the centre of Mudgee. The taxi service our evening function was reliable and on time.

Room tip: We stayed upstairs, the rooms are in a long row. Ask for end room if you want a quieter night.

Stayed one night in the gorgeous town of Mudgee.
Plenty of expensive accomodation in Mudgee.
This motel was fine with a simple breakfast.
Had a great dinner at the Red Heifer Grill in Lawson PArk Hotel and enjoyed some fantastic wines - strangely the best wines were not from Mudgee :-(
