This was our first port of call in Mudgee, staff were very friendly although it was the end of the day and had obviously had a lot of people in during the Sunday trade. The feta cheese is totally awesome and we are very happy that when we run out it is available locally. Lots to offer - well worth the visit :)

Beautiful spot, close to Mudgee (about 4km's), nice atmosphere, lovely lunch and nice wines and cheeses!

There had been a concert locally the night before, but they seemed to be understaffed to cope with the numbers. After having coffee, I wanted to taste wine but waited for a while without being noticed.

Beautiful outdoor setting, under the shade of parasols. The cheese tasting platter was great, the pesto fetta is to die for. The prawn salad had just right subtle balsamic seasonic, fresh prawns grilled and seasoned. The vegetable and cheese tart was also beautifully fresh and seasoned. We were pleasantly surprised with a delicious, crisp chardonnay-sav blanc blend and a beautifully balanced and subtle shiraz with peppery finish. A must for anyone visiting Mudgee!
