Cuenca is known for its game meat and Las Brasas is such a nice surprise for being a quite typical 'bar'. First it has a GRILL so you can get wonderful grilled meat. For a tapa one day, we split an order 'ración) of tiny, grilled to perfection cordoniz or quail. Then for an easy and delicious and different dinner or lunch you can order a grilled LAMB or IBERICO Pork or Beef/Pork mixed meat burgers that were fabulous and mouthwatering. Nice change from the typical albondigas /meatballs! And the service was friendly and the bathrooms clean.

They offer a correct menu at lunch for 14,90€ including 2 courses, dessert, water and wine. The dining room has a nice atmosphere and the service is fast. The quality and quantity of food is correct. They offer a children one-course for 9 € including water. However, if you add a dessert, the children menu results same cost as their lunch menu. This could be improved since makes poor sense.

Awful place, over priced, low quality, complete tourist trap. Avoid it at all costs. Even of it might seem like a local place with genuinely good cuisine, it offered the worst salad and the worst burger I had in years, for a price that even in big cities, like Madrid or Barcelona, is hard to find. Avoid it even if you are desperately hungry.

The dinning room is nice it was a pity that the air con didn't cool it much. We tried the croquettes that were very nice but very filling.
We had the cod for seconds that was ok buy nothing to rave about.
The service was a bit slow but friendly.
Not a great choice.
