“Good for Photos”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

Had a walk over the bridge today (took a while to find as sign posts aren't very good), and it's a great place to take photos of hanging houses and old town.

“very nice place”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Very nice place.. Cuenca is a must visit for anyone going to Madrid. Nice quaint town with a well preserved village atmosphere. The bridge was a good place to take pics of the hanging houses and the valley around.

“Use it as part of a trek”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

We loved going over this bridge as part of our evening walk around the town. Better to avoid during the day as it wobbles a lot with many people on it! The gorge is beautifully lit up at night. Don't go to Cuenca on a day visit as the best times are early mornings and evenings when all the day visitors are gone. It is very quiet then. Well it was in May.

“Excellent entry to old Cuenca”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

The bridge from the Parador Hotel to Old Cuenca is perfect to start one's visit to the old town. The views from the bridge are lovely and the river and farms down below are interesting to contemplate. Best to take pictures early in the morning or towards evening as there are lots of tourists!

“Intrepid”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Our kids found this footbridge just a bit scary. Offers views of historic town, but "hanging houses" a bit overrated- there are only a couple of these.
