We loved going over this bridge as part of our evening walk around the town. Better to avoid during the day as it wobbles a lot with many people on it! The gorge is beautifully lit up at night. Don't go to Cuenca on a day visit as the best times are early mornings and evenings when all the day visitors are gone. It is very quiet then. Well it was in May.

The bridge from the Parador Hotel to Old Cuenca is perfect to start one's visit to the old town. The views from the bridge are lovely and the river and farms down below are interesting to contemplate. Best to take pictures early in the morning or towards evening as there are lots of tourists!

Our kids found this footbridge just a bit scary. Offers views of historic town, but "hanging houses" a bit overrated- there are only a couple of these.

Not for the faint hearted. Great views of the city.

Scared of heights, not the place for you. Best time to stroll across this pedestrian bridge is before noon, after that photo opps of Cuenca from the bridge are not optimal because the sun is slowly making its way into your camera lense.
