We passed by by chance and just loved it. Service is super nice and efficient, they suggested the Ceviche and we decide to order it. It was delicious, I have tried it in many places as it is one of my favorite dishes and we were delighted to find out that it was fresh and beautifully marinated.

The bar is a nice spot to stop for a cold drink and a bite. It's right in front of the river Huecar and in fact you can actually have a drink right on the bank of the river, there are 3 "tables" set up on therock wall that separates the river from the street. Pretty neat. Anyway the food is reasonably priced and quite good. The menu is limited but that usually means they do what they do well. I think the mom cooked my lunch because the cook hadn't arrived yet (apparently he shows up at 2:00). The waiter is one of those Spanish waiters that seem annoyed by your very presence at the establishment. Very common in Spain. The waiter has "mala leche". In the end though I think he warmed to me or me to him (probably the latter). His mom, the one who cooked my hamburger was nice though. The burger was really good, the dessert really, really good and the music was American 50's rock and blues and at just the right volume. The place is full of locals which is always a good sign. Oh, and the cook just arrived so mom really did go out of her way to cook my hamburger. This places really grows on you.

A small and perfectly formed gastrobar in the centre of Cuenca with a small menu of really delicious food for brunch, lunch or dinner. Whether late morning or lunchtime or evening this gastrobar accommodates all palates with a small ibut enviable choice of delicious starters and mains as tapas. Try the hamburger or the cod with cheese or the anchovy lasagne or salmon avocado on toast if you are brunching. Good selection of drinks and wine too, and great personal service. Only has half a dozen tables which adds to the charm of the place. You can eat at the bar or at a table. Unpretentious and authentic and a great experience. A must visit!
