I was very annoyed upon checking in that I was in a room with 2 twin beds after I had specified in my reservation that I was on my honeymoon. Fortunately it was the off season and I was able to upgrade, but I felt like I was forced into buying a higher priced room because of their mistake.
Beachfront view is spectacular, probably the closest you will get to the water in Roses. Pool was clean and modern, but small, and cold in the off season. Rooms were clean and spacious, bathrooms clean and modern, and the whole place has recently been updated. Elevators were a nightmare (small, doors closing randomly, broken electronics) and I ended up taking the stairs every time despite being 6 months pregnant.
Breakfast was nothing to speak about, except the fresh-cooked egg station. Dinner was a disappointment--awful cafeteria style food. The only people who would like it are elderly people with digestive problems who can only eat soft, salt-less food. Which is perfect because the place was over-run with bus loads of retirees. Not sure if it's less geriatric in the summer months, but we are 30, and felt very out of place on our honeymoon.More
