“Chill out week”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Just returned from a week in this lovely Hotel. If you are looking for a place to chill out this has to be near the top of the list. Round the pool is tranquil, and you are able to chill and relax. Food is very good, staff are very polite and efficient. The hotel is well situated, and the rooms are very clean and traditional. Thoroughly recommend this Hotel.

Was fortunate to spend 5 nights here and experience this lovely quaint hotel. Rooms were spacious and cleaned to high standard daily. Beach towels were supplied and changed as requested. Pool area was lovely and quiet and plenty of loungers available. Loved the sorbet twice daily around pool. Possibly the best breakfast we have experienced in a hotel- plenty of fresh fruit, cheese, salmon, local hams, pastries and cooked breakfast made to order. There was even Prosecco available to have with your orange juice! Only had dinner in the hotel on one occasion which was lovely as we eat in the local restaurants which were of high standard. Will return for some quality down time in the very near future.

Not much to add, it is a lovely hotel and the staff are fabulous. The restaurant is good. It reminded me of a top quality caribbean hotel in many ways. I feel slightly guilty reporting what happened to us, as it is not the hotel's fault, and they are trying so hard. But I don't believe it was our fault either and it could have caused serious problems.

We had emailed re parking and were advised it was ok to park on nearby streets, which we did. On the day we left, our hire car had disappeared. We spotted an orange "post-it" stuck on a wall from which we worked out the car had been towed away - but why? There were no obvious parking restrictions, there was a very old faded bit of yellow on the road which we would not have been able to see at night when we parked - and even if we had, we would have ignored it, as there were freshly painted yellow lines which stopped well short of it. And there were local cars. Plenty of them. None of which were towed away.

The hotel helped us track the car down, and we got it back, £110 lighter, including the taxi. As we were collecting it another hire car was being towed in. I spoke to my son and exactly the same thing had happened to him. Neither of us have ever had as much as a parking ticket in the uk.

Had we been on our way back to the airport it would have been disastrous - we would have missed our flight - fortunately we were off to another hotel. Surely, even if we were illegally parked, which we would not have been in the uk, the police could have simply rung the hire company who could have rung us and asked us to move it? I have approached the Pollenca authorities via facebook to ask whom to complain too, but have not had a response. If someone knows who to contact, please get in touch. The hotel is lovely but the resort is not at all busy and if our experience was indicative of the wider approach to foreign tourists I am not surprised.

Just experienced 5 nights without four children. Have been away on numerous occasions with and without children.... This is a serious tonic for work-a-holics and child free. Quiet, peaceful with lovely food and great staff. The pool area an oasis of calm.Such a lucky find. Going back sooner rather than later without the children but will take the parents/in laws ! A jewel in the Majorcan Crown.

Room Tip: Had a junior suite, large, clean well appointed room .with views of pool, mountains and sea from sid...

We spent three nights at the hotel with our teenage sons (16 and 19). Not much to add to other reviews. This is an excellent hotel. Staff are exceptional. The pool area is spotless with plenty of loungers whenever you arrive. We ate in the hotel and the food was of a good standard. More brasserie than fine dining but all the better for it. Apparently there are some decent restaurants close by but Puerto Pollensa is a short taxi ride away and has plenty to offer. Breakfast was excellent with cooked food made to order. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I would strongly recommend the superior doubles. I even had a glimpse of the sea from the balcony. If it were closer to the sea I'd give it 5 stars. We'll be back though.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Hotel Cala Sant Vicenc and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a first class relaxing escape away from the children!
The hotel is relaxed yet professional and warm and friendly whilst also being discrete around guests too - we weren't woken snoozing around the pool for the complimentary sorbets that are delicious and handed out twice a day. A welcome treat!
The food was wonderful and the staff were incredibly helpful too. The perfect break - we will be back ...

We spent 10 lovely days at this small and friendly traditional Mallorcan hotel. We choose it because it was adult only (we love kids, but needed a good rest). The hotel was everything we hoped for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Beautifully layed out, perfectly clean and nicely decorated. Service is great and staff lovely, polite and they make you feel welcome. Rooms are a good size and beds comfortable, maids are in everyday and rooms always kept clean, from breakfast to dinner food is of a very good standard, with good variety and reasonably priced for the rating.

The hotel has a great pool, comfortable sunbeds (with nice touches like a complementary cooling sorbet ice cream around the pool everyday, twice a day).

It's just a short walk to the several small cove beaches, a handful of small restaurants (no need for a car really, we got a direct Taxi from Palma Airport through ABC transfers; driver was on time; professional and only cost €69). There's plenty of buses, or book a taxi at €12 from the hotel to Puerto Pollensa.

We would love to go back asap. But don't tell everyone.
