My husband and I have just returned from 4 nights here and had the most wonderfully relaxing stay. The hotel was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, food delicious, the bedroom suite lovely, pool warm and oh! so peaceful. Just what we needed to re-charge our batteries. Would recommend to anybody. Will certainly be back.

Room Tip: Would think all the rooms are good.

Just got home from a wonderful week.
The hotel was everything we hoped for when booking. If you are looking for a stress free week this is for you, the staff are attentive without being obtrusive and nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is immaculate and the sorbets a nice touch after a hard days sunbathing. A bonus is a good selection of restaurants in walking distance make for a dream location... We will definitely be going back

This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review for a hotel! This truly was perfect! The rooms are very spacious, small fridge, complimentary wine and water on arrival. Turn down service and rooms cleaned daily. Amazing breakfast- can't think of anything that wasn't provided! Lovely pool and sun beds, very quiet- no kids. Complimentary sorbet around the pool was a lovely touch! All very clean. Towels, robes and beach towels provided. Close to 3 small coves, a few small supermarkets and a few restaurants. 13 euros in a taxi to port de pollenca. Hotel Restaurant served some of the best food i've ever tasted! Occasional Guitar player/ Cuban trio made meals all the more special! Staff are all lovely and very attentive. Only bad points I can think of are; in our room the air con was slightly noisy and we heard neighbours occasionally, also no double bed- singles pushed together. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Myself and my new husband stayed at this hotel for 5 nights last week (June 2013) for our Honeymoon and it was fantastic. The attention to detail at this hotel is second to none and we felt very special and welcome.

We were upgraded to a Suite overlooking the pool and garden. Gorgeous room which felt really traditional rather than full on ultra modern chic. Huge bed and wardrobes with a lovely seating area and balcony. We had a vase of roses and a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival in our room and a card saying congratulations on our recent wedding. There was also a very informative welcome pack with a letter specifically addressed to us with details of things that were going on in the area during our stay.

The hotel itself is small and intimate but the staff leave you alone unless you want them. The décor is traditional with beautiful antique furniture mixed with modern touches. One downside is that the walls are a little thin so if you're unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours then it could be a pain - however I doubt there are many noisy types that come here! Pool area is gorgeous with nice padded sunbeds around the pool and there was always plenty of space.

We didn't eat in the restaurant at night but the breakfast was beautiful with freshly squeezed OJ and everything cooked to order. Loads of fresh fruit and breads for those who want a cold breakfast.

Location is good as the resort area is so small that everywhere is easy to get to. There are 3 small sandy cove beaches a 5 min walk away and these have a lovely atmosphere so well worth a visit. The only downside of the resort (not the hotel) is that its SO small and there are only about 5 restaurants to eat at and there are no bars or shops to browse around (except grocery stores). Its great if you want a very quiet holiday but if want a bit more to do then its only a 10 min drive to Port al Pollcenca which is much busier.

The little touches that make this place special were free mini bowls of ice cream bought around some afternoons around the pool, a card from the room cleaner letting us know her name and making sure her cleaning times were convenient with us, tour of hotel on arrival whilst bags whisked up to the room... I could go on!

Its a very special place and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to totally chill out on holiday. Thank you Hotel Cala as we had a wonderful time :-)

We have been to the Cala for many years and we love it! The staff are wonderful and cater to our every need! The rooms are always immaculate and the views are lovely! The hotel is quiet and great for relaxing. The gardens are beautiful and the pool is always clean. Sorbets beside the pool are the highlights of our holidays! Cala San Vicente is a great location, the hotel is a mere 5 minute walk! You can also hire pedalos on the beach. The restaurant is amazing with a great selection of dishes to cater for all the family, if anything the portions may be a bit on the large side, but this is fine for our family! All the waiting staff are very attentive to any problems or needs. However, when we went to book for this year, we found that the Cala now will not allow under 16's, this we found rather annoying as our family consists of an 18 year old girl, a 16 year old girl and a 12 year old girl. They are all mature and this is just very unfortunate.
See you soon, hopefully.

Set in a peaceful cove this small hotel offers all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. The rooms are great with large comfortable beds, the breakfast is fantastic, the pool nicely heated in June and surrounded by ample sun beds and umbrellas. The poolside dining area provides a good selection of delicious snacks and meals. Pollenca and Port de Pollenca are both in easy reach and taxis reasonable at around 12 Euros each way. Both towns have some great restaurants.
