“4th Time For 4 Star (5 Star Entertainment Team) Experience”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Four years in a row and we sound like part-timers compared to some of the regulars the Pavlo Napa attracts every year.
No doubt many of you are reading this and scratching your head, thinking why would people go back to the same place again, never mind four times or more?
One holidaymaker summed it up, it's like the place casts a spell over you.
When our son turned 6 we looked for our first ever all inclusive holiday with added kids (and adult) entertainment team, four years on and we have never looked back.
Peter and his sidekick Paul are the mainstay of the Animation (entertainment) team and are outstanding, a fabulous plus was when our bus turned up they were seeing other guests off and there was the excellent Ilu, who had returned for a 6 week working holiday, and Matthew ran into her arms, job done! Barbie the very good newcomer making up the 4 man/woman small but perfectly formed team.
If there is a secret to this place it is obviously the staff, from Peter & his team right through reception staff, cleaners and bar & restaurant etc. Exactly the right size for the familiarity and their genuine friendliness.
The mix of the guests this time was outstanding and the best in our 4 years, many familiar faces and after dropping your bags in your room your holiday starts immediately. BTW this is in a really relaxed and laidback way having little conversations or even just the odd hello. Thank you to everybody who was there this time, a great mix of adults and kids. A special shout out to Steve, Belinda and Jade who helped make this holiday so great....not to mention the likes of teenagers Owen, Jordan, Tia, Kyle and others (apologies for not naming everyone) who helped smooth our/Matthew's holiday - not forgetting Luca from Germany ('you're a bad boy Matthew') who was a real character.
The night-time entertainment does the business most nights on what is clearly a low budget but bingo, tribute acts, karaoke give everybody a laugh - if you are up for having a laugh. Though the juggler should be sacked and this is even if he didn't keep dropping stuff, while the tribute act bloke who appeared as Freddie Mercury & Robbie Williams on separate nights, should stick to sweeping the streets as good old Freddie Williams, or should that be Robbie Mercury?
The rooms are clean and good for the bits sleeping in between having your holiday, which surely is what they are there for. The food and drinks tick all the boxes for us and the choice is always excellent, even for very awkward children...and adults.
More work is due on the hotel this winter and the challenge must be to do this without losing that special something that makes the Pavlo Napa so...special. The staff throughout the hotel have hardly changed over 4 years and must be retained at all costs, even if they have to pay them when the hotel will be closed at times it is usually open while work is going on.
All of the staff clearly thrive on the busy English school holidays time and one other challenge is that the hotel must continue the right balance of holidaymakers.
Previous years have seen around 60% Brits and then a mixture form Sweden, Germany, Russia etc. This year it appeared to be almost exclusively Russia and the UK. The hotel buzz comes from the interaction between staff and punters and no disrespect but with odd exceptions, the fact is that the visitors from Russia tend not to join in with the entertainment, both day and night.
I think this is partly cultural, partly because the age profile of the Russian guests tended to be older people and not so much families, plus hardly any of them are all inclusive so when half the hotel are never going to go to the nightly entertainment (to drink the drink they've already paid for) then it is always going to be difficult getting that atmosphere going.
I could write more but I will let somebody else have a go
Lastly, when the main topic of conversation in the final days is finding out prices for next year then I think it tells you everything.
I hope that spell is never broken.

Room Tip: The annexe rooms are bigger but those in the main block are closer to the action, take your pick.

Nice hotel for a quite holiday, food was good plent selection. Rooms where clean and fairly modern, staff where friendly in general. Entertainment was poor considering you are all inclusive, that poor I went to bed at 10 pm every night. Could of went out for entertainment by too much hard work with 3 tots under 5 . Definitely needs improved that the only down fall.

Room Tip: Twin room are available

Just returned from the Pavlo Napa for the third year, and will be booking up for a fourth very soon. It was great to see all the staff again, they are all lovely and so hard working. The hotel is very clean and has a beautiful setting. Food is delicious, top marks to the chef who provides a variety of high quality dishes. A massive thanks to Peter and Paul who always manage to make the holiday extra special, it wouldn't be the same without them. Its also nice to see many familiar faces from pervious years, giving the hotel a family atmosphere with a great buzz. The only bad thing about this hotel is leaving, which reduces me to tears every time!! Jade

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. All of the staff are excellent and work so hard, they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My husband and i travelled with our 9 year old daughter. My husband enjoyed all of the activities during the day such as darts, pool, table tennis and water polo, whilst my daughter loved the kids club. These activities are run by an enthusiastic animation team led by Peter. Many of the guests are returning holiday makers who refuse to go anywhere else. The hotel has a fantastic location, its own private beach and shops, bars restaurants on your doorstop. The food is excellent, even my daughter who is quite fussy ate well, food is available all day from 7am til 9pm. Alcohol 10am til midnight. The rooms are ok, we stayed in the annex this year and the rooms are bigger than the main hotel building, clean and tidy. We are currently looking at prices for next summer as we would love to return. Evening entertainment was a bit mixed, some evenings were very good (Elvis tribute, ABBA singers, etc) some acts were a bit hit and miss, but to be honest the company and staff made the evenings good. All in all a great holiday, 2 weeks relaxation and lots of smiles on our faces. We miss you Pavlo Napa and all of our friends. Xxx

Just got back from a 10 night stay at Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel and can only say it was perfect.
The location is just right - on the main road into Ayia Napa but far enough out of the main town so that there is no noise. I can honestly say there was no late evening noise to be heard. It's got it's own beach known as Sandy Bay where there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for hire at €2.50 each. The beach has water sports such as jet skis, paragliding, pedaloes and inflatable rides as well. You are not hassled by anyone on this beach which we found a nice change. If you want to go on these rides you just take a walk over and ask. The hotel also has its own diving school - again not hassled - if you're interested just ask.
Accommodation was comfortable and extremely clean. Air conditioning a bit noisy and has to work hard in the very high temperatures during August. Each room has its own fridge which was very useful.
Food was great. Breakfast was a variety each day of cold meats, cheeses, salad, full cooked breakfasts with 3 choices of how to have eggs, waffles, cereals or fruit. Lunch was again salads, meats, cakes from the buffet or you could choose from a menu of fish, burgers, pizza, lamb chops or an array of sandwiches made to order. Evening meals were always themed and I must say all of the meats melted in your mouth. The carvery night and the Cyprus night are one of the best nights -try the beef it's gorgeous. Drinks are plentiful - waiter service for evening meals, help yourself at breakfast and bar service during the day.
Ice cream available during the day - just help yourself whenever you want. The mini magnums are yummy.
The service by all who work there is fantastic. They all work tirelessly and are always cheerful.
Nothing is too much trouble.
Entertainment team work hard to ensure people have fun, again no pressure to join in. Watch out round the pool when the water polo starts - great fun to watch.
I can see why many people return year after year. The hotel is a great place to stay for families with young or older children.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 423. Would recommend this floor as great views.

Spent two wks at pavlo, v clean hotel, pool area fantastic clean towels daily, comfy sunbeds, staff are excellent and v friendly with exception to the v rude and horrible man behind reception!!!!
Food is amazing at pool bar and tiffany restaurant for evening, great choices. Would like air con on more in tiffany restaurant so hot it can put you off eating. Peter and paul are truly amazing they look after you so well, and work do hard, they truly deserve their recognition, not pushy if you dont want to get involved. Great daytime entertainment with music and games however the evening entertainment with exception to robbie williams and elvis tributes badly lets hotel down!!!! For all inclusive id like to NOT have to leave hotel at night it was so bad also would like to see a more comfortable sitting area for night time not plastic chairs and plastic cups to drink from.
bedrooms just been refurbished but bathrooms now need upgrading badly.
would def recommend this hotel great location if you have teenagers.
