As a party of 50 going to a wedding in Cyprus our holiday started with a hic-up at Newcastle airport when the travel agent had not added eight names to the flight documents and they were separated on the flight out, we thought here we go, what else will go wrong.

We arrived at The Olympic Lagoon Resort (Always a anxious moment) to be greeted by a army of staff who quickly had us all booked in and taken to our rooms, when talking them later they were all were delighted with the hotel and rooms, It did not stop there, Although our wedding was at a different venue the couple getting married were upgraded and had a wedding breakfast delivered to there room,

On the day of the wedding our numbers had grown to 81 and all the comments were how everyone was enjoying the holiday and they could not fault the OlympicLagoon in any way

A big thank you to Ele Papapetrou, Guest Relations Manager and all her friendly and helpful staff with Special mentions to Sam kaci azza Kieran Alex jade Georgie and Annie in the entertainment team, to George the bar manager and Steve at the poolside Bar.

In general it is an excellent hotel catering for all ages from 3 to 66 years old with 81 people in our party, there are always sun beds free all around the well laid out pools and gardens and everywhere was very clean and tidy

The full holiday was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you won’t be disappointed, a perfect resort and always spotlessly clean

What more could I say? (WE WILL BE GOING BACK)

Just spent a terrific week here, with my wife and daughter ,23-30 June, and it really is an idyllic place to spend a week in the sun. The pools are great, and never seemed too crowded, and the food is generally of a high standard, with plenty of variety. the Japanese restaurant, in paaticular provides excellent food, in a lovely situation, along with a knife-juggling chef !
Restaurant and bar staff were helpful and friendly, and we must give a special thanks to the Kanika-All-Stars entertainment team, all eight of whom performed tirelessly, cheerfully, and to a very high standard - a credit to the hotel. We'd like to give a special mention to Georgie, whose cabaret in the Cinnamon Bar was superb - fantastic voice !
Couple of small gripes - some reception staff, whilst helpful, did not come across as very welcoming, or friendly. Standard rooms are a little pokey - if someone is at the dressing table you have to climb over the bed to get by !
Nevertheless, highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you can afford it go for a family suite, which are much more roomy

Been here for a week now and have another week to go, daughter Nicola get;s married in the Olympic gardens this Friday 5th July.
My wife and I are in the Fishermans Village room 717 - very good room, ground floor pool access which is ideal, waiter service with the 'little touches' that make all the difference.
My wife and I have done all inclusive in the Carribean many times 2 of which were with Sandals "luxury included" - they could all learn from this hotel!!
The service is first class, food also, The hotel caters for children and adults only - a rare combination but they pull it off with ease.
The staff, quality of the hotel fittings, architecture etc is first class - the reason for me is very simple - it all comes down to customer focus AND first class training - it is an excellent hotel and I look forward to the wedding and another wonderful week here!!

Room Tip: If you can afford the extra and have no children - Fishermans Village
