First of all I would like to thank Christos Pericou, General Manager and his team for his continued excellent delivery of customer care and quality in the Olympic Lagoon Resort. He certainly maintains a keen eye for detail, and appears very astute when checking that all areas are functioning at an excellent level. The cleanliness is at a high level for a busy hotel and the housekeepers are excellent. The organisation must invest well in the staff training, as all the staff are both polite and helpful at all times, despite the hot weather. I find it really difficult to understand how anyone can say that some of the reception staff are rude at times. We have always found them to be excellent, and they pay lots of attention to detail, and customers requests specifically Ele, head receptionist.
We have travelled all over the world and we have never stayed in the same hotel more than once, however this is the third time in three years that we have stayed in the Fishermans Village. It is an adult only complex within the resort. It has its own pool and the rooms are both large and delightful. The staff wait on you hand and foot, bringing drinks, snacks, fruit and cold towels on a regular basis throughout the day.
Now on to the food, well there is such variety, with a different theme every night, as well as the Japanese, Captains Deck and American Diner. The food is of a high standard and very tasty. The cocktails and all the liquid refreshments are yummy, the bar staff work very hard and are so friendly.
There is a full activity programme that is, if you have any extra energy to use with the heat. The beach is only five minutes away, with lovely sand. However thishotel has turned in to a very busy hotel with a number of weddings each day, resulting in large groups of people dominating certain areas at times .Last, but not least, the hotel has an excellent PR Manager called Ele Papapetrou who makes it her business to ensure that everyone is happy and enjoying their holiday. She appears to work from morning to night every day and nothing appears too much trouble for her to address. So all in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it has certainly got the 'wow' factor. It has an excellent management team who certainly know their business and client group. We will be back in the very near future!
