we went from 0ct 7th to oct 17th 2012 and all i can say is that the olympic lagoon is the best place i,ve been to. we had a deluxe bungalow with spa/pool and it was brilliant the kids loved it. we got married in the aphrodite and dined in watermill square which was beautiful. we also had our own waiter called dimitri and what a proper gentleman he was. very friendly and knew his football which was a bonus. all the staff where very friendly and helpful. i will definately be going back as i didnt want to leave. highly recommended in every way. great for families and only couples.plenty of pools and the pirate ship was amazing for the kids. food tremendous. so if this is not enough for anyone to enjoy a holiday i will never know what is. one word... AMAZING

Room Tip: bungalow with pools/garden are tremendous

This is my 2nd visit this year to olympic lagoon it truly is Amazing , nothing too much trouble for any of the staff from front desk especially eleni to bar staff waitresses porters even the cleaners , everything is spotless food good cocktails good entertainment good I can't praise the hotel highly enough . It is expensive we paid around £900 each for standard room and have just looked at prices for next year it's over£1000 for next year and in July August time it's closer to £1400 for one person for one week . Be careful Thomas cook you could out price this hotel and end up losing business !!!!!! 5 stars for hotel n staff thou and I will definitely be back but not in July or aug :)))

We got married here early October 2012 with 35 of our friends & family. We chose the Olympic Gardens for the wedding ceremony & this was money very well spent as it is the best wedding venue at the hotel by far. We had our reception at the watermill square which was also an excellent choice.

On arrival we had excellent advice from the Thomas cook lady Charlie & also from the hotel wedding co-ordinations, they filled in all of our blanks, told us where to be & when & explained how the day would work - this help made our holiday & our wedding as we were not that well prepared. When the groom was ill & the wedding was in jeopardy, they offered to put it back a day but this wasn't needed thank god. They were amazing.

We were also suggested the guitar duo who I cannot recommend high enough, they were faultless in every way & made the day. The price for them was good & they did a very good set - if you are even slightly considereding them then we suggest you go for it! They let us sing & gave us a free dj for the evening as they were trailing the dj for future receptions!

The hotel is top quality & a very good choice for weddings & a holiday in general, lots of different pools, places to eat & drink, very clean & tidy. Food is good, entertainment is good.

As someone who got married there, there weren't 100 weddings a day like some will have you believe, you occasionally saw people coming in & out of reception in suits as they were arriving for a wedding but that was about it. The wedding venues are mostly out of the way at the back of the hotel.

Also, there are not groups of blokes or stag parties or people rolling around drunk, it is a classy resort with none of this.

If your are considering going here to get married I would highly suggest it - it was simple as well as wonderful without any hassle, guaranteed weather with people who really know what they are doing, everyone who came said they had not been to better wedding.

If you are coming here for a holiday, there is nothing to not like, it is a fantastic place & Cyprus is beautiful.

If you have any questions, we'll answer honestly,

I booked Cyprus as a last minute holiday to escape the dreadful weather we were having. We paid more than I usually do for a weeks AI but I am so glad I did. From the moment we checked in to the time we departed any staff we met were so helpful and went out of their way to make our holiday stay such a peaceful one. They also host a lot of weddings ( sometimes 2 in a day) at this hotel but this in no way deters from the service they provide all the other hotel guests. The night we arrived we had a stunning thunder storm which lit up the whole sky but from then on we had a week of superb sunshine and just wished we had not booked for 2 weeks. The hotel is kept spotless and the food is plentiful and of a very good standard. The only downside is the location as I have mobility issues the walk to nearest pubs/restaurants takes a 10 minute walk and Ayia Napa a good 45 minutes , If like me you have walking difficulties then the bus stops outside the hotel to Aiya Napa and costs 1 euro each way , Taxi's average around 6 euros. It is very unusual to find all the hotel staff to be so friendly . This hotel closes for the winter period and reopens again in March. If you have booked this hotel then I assure you that you would find it very hard to fault the management and staff for the level of service they provide. The hotel has 7 swimming pools with an adults only pool which was very relaxing for us, All the staff I spoke to said they would be returning when the hotel opens for the new season,I have said in previous reviews that we arenot keen to return to a hotel as we like to try other locations, However this maybe the exception to the rule as I would have no hesitation in returning to the Olympic Lagoon, So to all the staff and I mean every member of staff a huge THANK YOU to making our trip such an enjoyable one and I will be returning in the future for a 2nd visit.

Room Tip: We were in room 249 and this was great for the sea view but the sun hits the balcony all afternoon s...

we stayed here for 14 nights, with are two children in a family suite with its own garden. the accomadation was more than perfect with the garden gate opening up near the childrens swimming pool. A massive selection of food at every meal time which was also extreamly tasty. They kept every where at the hotel exceptionly clean, staff very friendly could not do more for you. I also got married at the hotel in the olympic gardens, and even tho they have between 2 - 3 weddings at this hotel a day, i was made to feel like i was the only one in the world that was getting married. 100% going back for my 5th wedding anniversary. Could not fault the place

Myself and 27 others stayed at the olympic lagoon from 26th aug-10th sept for my wedding. When we arrived we were showed to our room where we had champayne on ice, a fruit basket and turkish delight waiting for us. The room was of a high standard with a fab garden space. The wedding co ordinators, Helen, Katie and Jodie were absolutely amazing. They went through everything with us and gave us a wedding day that you could only dream of! I cant thank them enough! Anyone wishing to get married her i would highly recommend you upgrade to the olympic gardens for your ceremony and book thw marque for your reception which some how was free of charge. The food was out of this world, so much to choose from, even my daughter who is the fussiest eater managed to pile her plate up every day. We went to the japanese restaurant for the night after the wedding, compliments of the hotel where we were again greeted with champayne and made to feel special. The restaurant team were amazing, especially team 2!! The pools were fab, not cold at all with lots of pool activities if u fancied it. All in all this hotel is amazing and i cant wait to go back, it is worth every penny. Thankyou olympic lagoon for giving us our fairy tale wedding that we will never forget!!

when we was invited to a wedding at this resort and was told the price we had second thoughts but when we got there and settled in we was amazed how clean the resort was kept inside and outside the swimming pools were clean and patrolled by lifeguards there was entertainment twice a day in the family pool you was allowed 1 towel each for sun beds which there was plenty of. there was a pool bar were you could drinks of your choice whether hot or cold, there was a kiosk were you could get cold drinks, ice cream & sandwiches. The rooms were spacious nice big bed free safety deposit box in the wardrobe nice bathroom with plenty of fresh towels daily, now for the food the quality, the choices whether it be breakfast time lunch time or evening it was all fresh food. There 4 resturants 2 you had to book a reservation 2 just walk ins there was entertainment every night. Well worth the money.

Room Tip: we only seen a couple of rooms and were both same size we was in 223 over looking main road and the...
