“Fantastic hotel”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Having had a very relaxing week at the Grecian Bay I can vouch for other reviewers' comments. This hotel is in a stunning location with fabulous views and right on the beach, it even has its own private section! You can choose whether to relax on a beach sunbed or around the enormous pool. The gardens were a delight too. Our room was very spacious and tastefully furnished. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and were totally spoilt for choice of food, which was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well deserving of its five stars. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: A sea view room on a high floor.. We think you would still see the sea with a side view room as well...

We have just returned from an incredibly relaxing holiday in our most favorite hotel - we will definitely return. Five stars and yet not overbearing, comfortable, clean, nicely designed and extremely well managed. The staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant, the restaurant is more than ample (we especially liked the breakfasts). Most of all - the incredibly blue sea and a nice sandy beach with allocated chairs without an extra fee and a clean towel as often as needed. We have had a lovely time, the sound of the waves had all the calming effect needed to relax from a stressful job. No animation team to drive you crazy, no whistles blowing for unwanted activities, you can read, swim, walk and simply enjoy life. A great place to be - and THANK YOU to all who work hard to make it so.

Room Tip: Definitely recommend sea view.

This hotel was a really surprise for us, it has a great location, far from the noisiness of Aiya Napa, but not so far to go on a walk there. It has beautiful clean private beach with own sunbeds (without any fee). The sea was clean like in the Caribbean, warm and calm. What I missed the most - activities for the kid´s, but overall we enjoyed it as much as it was possible. Amazing holiday, definitely coming back again one day.

Room Tip: The room with a sea view is a must :)

Returning visit, To my piece of paradise.
The Grecian Bay has everything you would need for a perfect relaxing holiday.
With a private beach, feet from the sea. And allocated sunbeds, this is my idea of a perfect holiday location.
if you're looking for a quality hotel, helpful staff and a wonderful beach front location look no further than the Grecian Bay.
Located within easy walking distance of the centre of Ayia Napa . The rooms are clean and tidy with TV, and coffee making facilities, and wonderful views of the beach and pool.
There is even a fitness room with new equipment, and staff on hand to help you.
With a large outdoor swimming pool and lifeguard on hand this is a safe family friendly hotel.
Travelling as a single person I was made to fill very welcomed.
From the minute I walk in the staff were to help me.
I am already looking forward to visiting again next year.

the hotel is very nice with nice beach and amenities. the only negative thing I can remember about it that we paid for a sea view room but got a semi seaside view and when I asked the reception they said well this room is considered to be sea view because it looks on the bay attractions and after the bay there is the sea... it was silly to pay for a sea view and then dont get it.. be careful.. it was room 119.
On the other hand due to the fact that I was with my daughter who is 1 year 5 months old and she really enjoyed the beach, swimming pools and food I thought everything else was not important :-)
there are a lot of places to have lunch/dinners just outside the hotel.. the food in the hotel is also very good.

Room Tip: If you want a sea view do not take 119 because it is not a sea view.. pity we paid for a view which...

When one dreams of the mediterranean, images of blue waters and white buildings form. Atleast thats how it forms in my head.

The Grecian Bay Resort was something right out of a dream.

The hotel itself is located on the beach and seems to be bang in the middle of a whole barrage of tourist-friendly shops and stores. This meant we got to see quite a bit of the city just by getting around on foot. The rooms had an epic view of the ocean ahead and sitting on the balcony of my room just staring at the ocean ahead threatened to take up my entire time in Cyprus.

I loved the fact that the hotel had an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. And if that doesnt satiate your acquatic desires, you can always walk down to the beach. While I used the hotel restaurants only for breakfast, it was quite a fantastic way to start each morning with a sumptuous assortment of goodies. The rooms in themselves were large and comfortable with the best bit being the aforementioned balcony.

The hotel does appear to be a bit old now though, and could possibly do with some newer fitments and a bit of general upkeep to go with its 5 star status. Also, simple items like a bottle of water a day and a toothbrush should be provided upon request, rather than be charged for individually. That was quite a deviation from most modern hotels where such basic amenities are provided for and their absence in a 5 star resort was a bit shocking.

The service was excellent. Each day of our stay was punctuated by a visit from a friendly staff member offering us some chocolates for the day. The front desk was also always helpful in answering any queries we had and helping us figure out the best way to make the most of our visit.

Do hope to return soon for another trip!

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room that faces directly out on to the ocean.

One of the first 3 hotels biuld in the area right on one of the best beaches of Ayia Napa.
With very spacious rooms. Relaxing colors, Excellent pool, mature gardens. Nice location. Very well maintained rooms. With few words a peacefull, romantic and at the same time aristocratic hotel suitable for all ages.

Room Tip: Pool view and see view rooms are the best
